Route search servers (30A, etc.) each of which includes a plurality of service providing areas and has a predetermined area as a service providing area cooperate with one another to search for an optimal route from the departure place to the destination, both set by a terminal device (20), and give a guidance for the optimal route. Each route search server (30A, etc.) includes information on candidate nodes between a local area and each of the other areas, network data and map data within the local area, and route search means (307A). The route search server (30A, etc.) which has received a route search request with the departure place and destination set therein from the terminal device (20) causes a route search server (30B, etc.) in each area, which may be en-route, to search for candidate nodes in each area based on the information on the candidate nodes, and provides the terminal device (20) with a guidance for a candidate node which minimizes the link cost as a recommended route.

摘要： In a pump driving device in an engine, driving a pump shaft of a pump mounted to an engine body by a valve-operating cam shaft supported by the engine body, a bolt is threadedly engaged with one end of the cam shaft, the bolt having a head portion in which a polygonal hole is formed, and a polygonal shaft portion is formed at one end of the pump shaft so as to be fitted into the polygonal hole. The pump shaft is driven by the cam shaft via the polygonal hole and the polygonal shaft portion. Thus, a large driving torque can be transmitted from the cam shaft to the pump shaft without reducing any effective support surface of a journal portion of the cam shaft.

A first and second hanger bracket are attached to outer sides of the cylinder heads, respectively, and a third hanger bracket is attached substantially centrally on an outer side of the crankcase. In particular, the third bracket is preferably located within the loop of an endless belt passed around a generator which is fixedly attached to the outer side of the crankcase.

摘要： An outboard engine is disclosed that includes an idling chamber that communicates with a guiding outlet of a first exhaust path and that is open to the atmosphere. The idling chamber includes a cooling water communicating path that communicates with a cooling water supplying path, and a pressure adjusting valve that opens the cooling water communicating path when the value of the water pressure in the cooling water supplying path reaches a threshold value. When the value of the water pressure in the cooling water supplying path reaches the threshold value, the pressure adjusting valve opens and a portion of cooling water is guided to the idling chamber through the cooling water communicating path.

摘要： An outboard motor S has an exhaust manifold passage 37 for carrying exhaust gas from combustion chambers 30. The exhaust manifold passage 37 is formed in a part of a cylinder head 22 in an exhaust-side part of an internal combustion engine E on the side of the cylinder head 22 with respect to a joint surface P of a cylinder block 20 joined to the cylinder head 22. An exhaust passage 38 is formed in the cylinder block 20 and connected to the exhaust gas outlet 37e of the exhaust manifold passage 37 in the joint surface P. An electrical equipment box 50 holding electrical equipment is placed in the exhaust-side part so as to overlap the exhaust passage 38 when viewed in vertical direction. An electrical equipment box 50 is disposed adjacent to the cylinder head 22 with respect to the direction parallel to the axes of cylinders 20a. It is thus possible to increase freedom of arranging parts at positions farther from the cylinder head than the electrical equipment box and freedom of determining the sizes of those parts.

摘要： A water-cooled internal combustion engine has a cylinder head 21 provided with a cylinder head water jacket Jh through which cooling water flows. The cylinder head water jacket Jh includes a combustion chamber water jacket 70 surrounding combustion chambers 26 and an exhaust passage water jacket 71 around an exhaust manifold passage 38. The exhaust gas discharged from the combustion chambers 26 through exhaust ports 28 flows through the exhaust manifold passage. The exhaust passage water jacket 71 is divided into an upstream water jacket 72a and a downstream water jacket 72b by a partition wall 75. The cooling water flows from both the upstream water jacket 72a and the downstream water jacket 72a into the combustion chamber water jacket 70. Equality in temperature between a combustion chamber wall and an exhaust passage wall is improved and the cylinder head 21 is heated in a uniform temperature distribution.
