摘要: The invention relates to a data processing method for identifying a medical instrument (5) which is configured to be tracked by means of a medical tracking system (4), wherein the method is designed to be executed by a computer and comprises the following steps:—acquiring relative position and/or movement data which comprise relative position and/or movement information describing a relative position and/or movement between a calibration tool (1), which comprises at least one supporting surface (2), and the medical instrument (5) which is in contact with the side or edge of the at least one supporting surface (2), respectively;—acquiring geometry data which comprise geometry information describing at least one geometrical feature for a plurality of candidate instruments;—determining, on the basis of the relative position and/or movement data and the geometry data, candidate data which comprise candidate information describing at least one candidate instrument from the plurality of candidate instruments, the at least one geometrical feature of which would allow the relative position and/or movement between the medical instrument (5) and the calibration tool (1).

摘要: An outboard motor includes a drive shaft extending vertically from an engine and is rotated by the engine. An upper case covers the drive shaft. A propeller shaft extends perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly to the drive shaft. A lower case covers the propeller shaft. A front handle is disposed forward of the drive shaft and below an engine cover. A rear handle is disposed rearward of the drive shaft and below the engine cover. The rear handle is disposed in a position lower than a position of the front handle.

摘要: Provided is a protective cover kit for a marine propeller having a protective cover and a shift control warning attachment. The protective cover components have a slit and a central opening with a plurality of reliefs radiating from its circumference capable of accommodating various sized propeller hubs or shafts. Attaching elements are coupled to a slit and the first layer and second layer of the protective cover. The first and second layers are of a shape capable of substantially encasing a marine propeller. Once a force is applied by a user to the release apparatus, the attaching element is released and the protective cover is removed remotely from a distance above the surrounding water of the marine propeller. A shift control warning attachment is installed by a user onto a shift control lever to prevent inadvertent shifting prior to the removal of the propeller cover.

摘要: Apparatuses and methods for stabilizing an outboard motor of a watercraft during transport by a towed vehicle include a body having an outer member secured to the towed vehicle and an inner member disposed within and telescopingly movable relative to the outer member, the inner member having a head usable to contact and stabilize the outboard motor. A biasing member urges the inner member toward a retracted position. The inner member includes a first portion pivotally movable relative to a second portion, between an angled and a straight position. Contact between the first portion and the outer member prevents movement of the inner member toward the retracted position.

The disclosed stabilizer device effectively isolates the road-to-trailer-to-motor shock transfer that is delivered to the lower unit of the outboard motor by traditional transom savers that brace the outboard motor to the trailer. The disclosed stabilizer device is adjustable to fit many different outboard motor brands and sizes with hydraulic tilt and trim systems.

The instant invention also describes a system for preventing biofouling of an object stored in an aquatic environment which includes the anti-biofouling structure, and a protective cover element constructed and arranged to fit various structures, such as boat propellers.

摘要: A transportable outboard drive for a boat has a head, a pylon, a shaft connecting the head and the pylon, an electric motor and a cable running inside the shaft. The shaft has at least two shaft sections and wherein the head, shaft and pylon can be arranged in a working configuration or in a transport configuration. In the working configuration, the head, the shaft and the pylon are rigidly connected to each other. In the working configuration and the transport configuration, the cable and shaft are differently positioned with respect to each other, whereas, in its transport configuration, the shaft sections are separated from each other.

摘要: An electrically conductive coating is provided on a housing structure of a marine propulsion system. By impressing a current on the electrically conductive coating, which can be a polymer material, the housing structure is used as an anode in a cathodic protection system. In addition, the use of the electrically conductive coating on the housing structure as an anode inhibits the growth of marine fouling on the outer surface of the housing structure by forming chlorine gas in a saltwater environment and by forming an acidic water layer near the surface in a non-saltwater environment.
