摘要: A method for diagnosing a failure of a solenoid valve of a piston cooling device is provided. The method includes varying a pressure in a variable proportional control oil pump when an opening command or a closing command of the solenoid valve is sent to inject oil from the piston cooling device. Additionally, a variation of an oil pressure in an oil flow path of the piston cooling device is monitoring according to a variation of the pressure in the variable proportional control oil pump and whether a failure occurs at the solenoid valve of the piston cooling device is then determined.

摘要: An invention refers to a lubricant injector, a lubrication system and a method for providing lubricant for a piston machine. The lubricant injector is provided with a lubricant inlet conduit and an outlet opening, through which a lubricant is supplied to an inner space to be lubricated of a piston machine. The outlet opening may be selectively opened and closed by means of a needle valve, which is actuated by a magnet coil. The lubricant injector has a flow sensor suitable for determining the quantity of lubricant delivered through the outlet opening.

摘要: In an oil jet system that directs an oil jet toward a back face of a piston, when a coolant temperature of an engine has increased to a predetermined temperature in a stopped state of the oil jet, the piston is cooled by starting the oil jet. When a lubricating oil temperature of the engine has decreased to a predetermined temperature in an operated state of the oil jet, a delay time is determined based on a variation amount in engine rotation speed and a variation amount in intake air filling factor during a predetermined period, and the oil jet is stopped after a lapse of the delay time.

摘要: A lubrication distribution system for an engine is disclosed. The system includes a source of lubricant for the engine and at least one feed line fluidly connected to the source of lubricant. The feed line includes a wall defining a passageway and an orifice. The feed line terminates at the orifice, and lubricant flows through the passageway and exits the feed line through the orifice. The feed line also includes a heating element contained substantially within the wall of the feed line and located at or directly upstream of the orifice. The heating element is selectively activated to heat the lubrication flowing through the passageway and exiting the orifice.
