Abstract:
An optically pumped semiconductor laser is assembled in an enclosure comprising a base, a first mounting frame attached to the base, a second mounting frame attached to the first mounting frame and a cover attached to the second mounting frame. The assembly base, frames, and cover forms an undivided enclosure, with the frames contributing to walls of the enclosure. Components of the laser are assembled sequentially on the base and the frames. The frames are irregular in height to permit flexibility in the mounting-height of components. This reduces the extent to which compactness of the enclosure is limited by any one component.

Abstract:
Network access node for a terminal integrated wirelessly into the network, including: a) a memory device having at least one first key and address codes for second access nodes for the terminal, b) at least one data communications device for exchanging data with the second access nodes, c) connected with the memory device and the data communications device, a processor with functions for: d) deriving second keys, among them a second key for securing the connection between the terminal and the second access node, from the first key, e) secured association of the terminal by using a key derived from the first key, f) in response to the execution of function d), transmission of the second key for securing the connection between the terminal and the second access node through the data communications device via secured connections and through addressing using the address codes, wherein the second keys also include the key used for step e).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor device for capturing data when carrying out first aid measures for reanimating a person affected by a cardiac arrest. The sensor device is exactly positioned on the chest of the patient by means of a positioning-aid apparatus (5) and affixed by means of a fastening means (2). The thorax compressions, i.e., the pressing-in depth and compression frequency, are detectable by means of a motion sensor. A data-transfer interface allows communication, e.g. wireless communication, with a mobile terminal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the configuration and production of force-introduction points in core composites using reinforcement elements that traverse the thickness of said core composite. The reinforcement elements that traverse the thickness of the core composite are provided in the vicinity of the force-introduction points. The reinforcement elements (e.g. stitched fibres) are preferably incorporated by means of a stitching process and a stitching needle. After the stitching process, the cover layers (a and c), which preferably consist of textile semi-finished products and the hole produced by the passage of the needle, together with the reinforcement element are impregnated with a liquid polymer matrix, creating the material union of the core material and the cover layers.
Abstract:
A device and method for determining and displaying on a display element the status of at least one synchronization implemented in an electronic measuring instrument or a telecommunications device is provided. The device includes several functional units provided within the electronic measuring instrument or the telecommunications device, and each functional unit determines at least one parameter, the value of which corresponds to the status of the synchronization implemented in the respective functional unit.
Abstract:
A method and system for collecting installed application data from a computer system. The method includes scanning a file system of the computer system to produce file system data, and scanning an installed application database of the computer system to produce installed application data. The method further includes collecting system information associated with the computer system. The method still further includes combining the file system data, the application data, and the system information to produce an output file.
