Abstract:
Systems and method are provided for securing physical-location transfers that include receiving object information associated with a particular physical location; receiving user information associated with a user that owns the physical location; generating a protected object associated with the physical location, wherein the protected object is generated based on the object information and the user information; generating a user key associated with the physical location, wherein generating the user key is based on the object information and the user information; storing the user key and a physical-location identifier associated with the physical location in a database; receiving a transfer request associated with the physical location, the transfer request including the user key; transmitting an authorization request for the transfer associated with the physical location; and receiving one of an authorization for the transfer associated with the physical location and a cancellation for the transfer associated with the physical location.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are compositions comprising blocked puromycin analogs that are converted into active puromycin analogs upon the activity of a penicillin acylase. Also disclosed are methods of using blocked puromycin analogs to label proteins in a selected cell type in vivo in a transgenic multicellular organism that expresses a penicillin acylase within the selected cell type. Also disclosed are transgenic mice expressing a penicillin acylase within a selected cell type.
Abstract:
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for performing graph aggregation. In use, a graph with a plurality of vertices and a plurality of edges is identified. Additionally, aggregation is performed on the vertices and edges of the graph by computing a graph matching, where such graph matching is performed in a data-parallel manner.
Abstract:
The current patent application is directed to a class of highly functional, cloud-connected, interactive applications that are well suited for distribution and execution in social-networking contexts. When executed within the contexts of browser applications running on processor-controlled electronic devices, the class of application programs to which the current patent application is directed provides for importing images and other information from a social-networking service, developing digitally encoded and electronically stored content based on the imported images and other information, and distributing the digitally encoded and electronically stored content within a social-networking environment.

Abstract:
The multi-image sharpening and denoising technique described herein creates a clean (low-noise, high contrast), detailed image of a scene from a temporal series of images of the scene. The technique employs a process of image alignment to remove global and local camera motion plus a novel weighted image averaging procedure that avoids sacrificing sharpness to create a resultant high-detail, low-noise image from the temporal series. In addition, the multi-image sharpening and denoising technique can employ a dehazing procedure that uses a spatially varying airlight model to dehaze an input image.
Abstract:
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for performing graph coloring. In use, a graph with a plurality of vertices is identified. Additionally, the plurality of vertices of the graph is categorized, where the categorizing of the plurality of vertices is optimized.
Abstract:
An integrally formed high density ceramic pellet, for use in a ballistic armor plate, has a longitudinally extending body portion and an impact receiving end face. The impact receiving end face includes an impact receiving proximal segment that is convexly curved and a distal segment that merges with a top surface of the body portion. The distal segment has lateral surfaces that have a region including at least a portion which is concave in configuration or a region including a substantially smooth angled configuration. A cross-sectional area of the distal segment at the area of merger is greater than a cross-sectional area taken across a nominally designated base of the proximal segment. The length of the contour line of the outer surface of the distal segment is between 5 and 25% of that of the entire integrally formed impact receiving end face.
