    摘要: An integrated lamp/lamp electronics unit includes a lamp having a first end with first end electrical terminals, and a second end with second end electrical terminals. An end cap having an interior section is placed into electrical connection with the first end electrical terminals at the first end of the lamp. Lamp electronics are configured to control operation of the lamp and are connected only to the second end electrical terminals. The lamp electronics are carried on a circuit board having a configuration substantially matching the second end of the lamp portion. The circuit board is placed within the interior of a lamp electronics end cap, and the end cap is attached in a permanent relationship to the second end of the lamp.

    摘要: A method for fault detection in a closed loop feedback control system for an actuator includes modeling the actuator for providing a model output simulating the actuator output in response to a model input which is also the actuator input, and comparing the actuator output and the model output for providing a fault indication upon exceeding a threshold. An apparatus includes a feedback control system having means for providing a feedback signal indicative of an output of the actuator, means for comparing an output demand with the feedback signal for providing an actuator output error, and means for providing to the actuator an input proportional to the error. The apparatus also includes a fault detection system having means for modeling the actuator for providing a model output simulating the actuator output in response to a model input, means for providing the actuator input also to the actuator modeling means as the model input, and means for comparing the actuator output and the model output and providing a fault indication upon exceeding a threshold.

    摘要: A control system and method of controlling a gas turbine engine. The control system receives an error signal and processes the error signal to form a primary fuel control signal. The control system also receives at least one anticipatory demand signal and processes the signal to form an anticipatory fuel control signal. The control system adjusts the value of the anticipatory fuel control signal based on the value of the error signal to form an adjusted anticipatory signal and then the adjusted anticipatory fuel control signal and the primary fuel control signal are combined to form a fuel command signal.

    摘要: A method for communicating operational data for a system unit in a medical diagnostic system includes communicating identification information from an electronic device coupled to the system unit in the medical diagnostic system to an imaging unit in said medical diagnostic system, operating the medical diagnostic system in accordance with the identification information and generating operational data, and communicating the operational data to the system unit in order to establish a record of operational data for the system unit in the electronic device. The operational data includes information relating to the operation of the system unit in the medical diagnostic system. A corresponding apparatus includes a storage medium, a communication interface, and a programmed digital processing circuit coupled to the storage medium and the communication interface. The storage medium contains identification information for a system unit in a medical diagnostic system and a memory location for a record of operational data for the system unit. The communication interface is configured to allow for the communication between the system unit and the medical diagnostic system of identification information and operational data regarding the system unit. The processing circuit is responsive to requests for identification information and controlling communication of operational data via the communication interface to the medical diagnostic system.

The communications provide for the configuring of the medical diagnostic system to accept the system unit and for monitoring of the system unit.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing a corrected temperature signal indicative of an actual temperature to be measured. In an exemplary embodiment for a gas turbine engine including a rotor having a plurality of blades for channeling a fluid, a first temperature sensor disposed downstream from the rotor blades for proving a measured temperature signal indicative of temperature of the fluid, and a speed sensor operatively joined to the rotor for providing a speed signal indicative of rotational speed of the rotor, a temperature prediction control system is provided. The control system includes means for modeling the rotor for providing a simulated first temperature signal indicative of temperature of the fluid at the first temperature sensor due to work between the fluid and the rotor blades upon rotation of the rotor at the rotor speed. Means for modeling the sensor for providing a predicted temperature signal indicative of measured temperature of the fluid at the first temperature sensor are provided for adding a simulated error to the simulated first temperature signal. The control system also includes biasing means for providing a bias signal upstream of the predicted temperature signal proportional to a feedback error signal representing the difference between the measured temperature signal and the predicted temperature signal to reduce error therebetween.
