Abstract:
A flat touch switch having plural switch components with rotation speeds of the sewing machine shaft indicated on each component is positioned in the region of the needle bar. Pushing a component part of the switch drives the machine at the indicated speed. A control logic circuit senses the pushed component and by sensing the speed of the driven shaft, drives the machine at the selected speed.
Abstract:
A cycle stitching device for a sewing machine includes a switch automatically operated to deenergize the drive motor of the machine and simultaneously energize a solenoid for activating a stopping device that stops the sewing machine with the needle located at a predetermined position, and pattern cam means stopped at a predetermined position thus permitting the stitching of the subsequent pattern exactly from the initial stitch coordinate.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an automatic thread cutting device for a sewing machine which is provided with a horizontal loop taker, wherein a thread catching member (4) is operated in response to a thread cutting instruction to reciprocatingly move with a movable blade (5) along a predetermined course, the thread catching member (4) normally catching the upper thread when moving in the return-way of reciprocation to guide the upper thread to a fixed blade (14) which is provided to cut the upper thread in cooperation with the movable blade (5), and wherein a thread regulating means is provided to cut the lower thread (29d) together with the upper thread, the thread regulating means being operated to press down the lower thread (29d) to a position where the lower thread (29d) is caught by the thread catching member (4) in addition to the upper thread when the thread catching member (4) is moving in the return-way of reciprocation.
Abstract:
An embroidering machine is provided with a display section which is retractable within a machine housing and can be pulled to an operational position when in use for select/input operation. Several kinds of select/input operation can be made with a single display means, by suitably changing and selecting the display mode. Select/input operation is made by plotting an appropriate portion seen in the display, reducing to a great extent erroneous operation with a visual support.
Abstract:
A sewing machine has a group of pattern cams arranged to cooperate with a needle to produce a pattern per cycle rotation thereof, a user-operated pattern selecting device arranged to be manipulated for selecting the pattern cams to control a lateral swinging movement of the needle, a machine stopping device, pattern cycle selecting device operated to select one of pattern cycles to automatically stop the sewing machine after a selected pattern has been formed up in a selected pattern cycle, a device for detecting a termination of a pattern cycle and producing an electrical signal each time it detects the termination of the pattern cycle, a counter device responding to a predetermined number of the electrical signals of the pattern cycle detecting device to produce a pulse signal, and machine stopping device responding to the pulse signal of the counter device to operate the machine stopping device to stop the sewing machine.
Abstract:
In a sewing machine having an automatic thread cutting mechanism, a situation of a thread cutting operation is detected in power-OFF to continuously carry out a proper operation when a power supply is turned ON again after sudden power-OFF. In a sewing machine having an automatic thread cutting mechanism, there is provided means for detecting an operation situation of the automatic thread cutting mechanism when a power supply is turned ON. Based on a signal for the detection, the automatic thread cutting mechanism is operated to complete a thread cutting operation and to carry out a control to return into an initial state when a stop is performed with the thread cutting mechanism in power-ON executing the thread cutting work.
Abstract:
An embroidering system comprises a plurality of embroidering machine each connectable to a single control unit. Various characters or patterns are stored in a floppy disc installed in the contol unit, from which pattern data designating a desired pattern combination can be read out and transferred to a memory in the control unit responsive to key entry operation. By repeated key entry operation, plural series of stitch control data including the pattern data are in a lump stored in the memory. Among them, a specific series of the stitch control data can be read out in response to a pattern renewal signal which is generated by manual depression of a corresponding key arranged on the embroidering machine each time when the preceding embroidering operation has been completed.
Abstract:
An embroidering machine includes RAM which stores temporally the embroidering data read out from a memory card; a device which detects attaching or detaching of the memory card; a buffer circuit which makes and breaks a power source and buses for the memory card; an indicator or warning device which indicates the circuit making and breaking; a device for double checking the data sent from the memory card to RAM; and a device which indicates to the operator the presence of a required card. In the detector of the memory card, determined detecting edge terminals of the memory card are made shorter, and when the card is detached the circuits of the detecting terminals are disconnected earlier than the remaining circuits. When the circuit of the detecting terminal is disconnected, the port of the circuit is rendered to be high impedance by the buffer circuit and the power source to the memory card is disconnected before the terminal of the power source and the bus of the memory card are disconnected, so that if the memory card is slipped out from the embroidering machine while processing "ACCESS" of the memory card, the memory IC is not destroyed.
Abstract:
A delay circuit is realized by a program, instead of a conventional one of a hard system, so that if a pedal controller is rapidly stepped, a suitable speed acceleration or reduction curve may be always provided and the delay circuit is not affected by changes in temperatures or variations in passing time.
