Abstract:
Another object is to enable different types of control instructions to coexist, wherein an address converter table is used to rapidly shift addresses in a memory without adversely affecting other operations. A method of controlling a manufacturing line using a central processing unit, wherein the various addresses in a memory are rapidly shifted using an address converter table so that different types of control instructions, such as compiler and interpreter languages, can coexist without any adverse affects. The method enables utilization of a high speed CPU and low speed I/O devices.
Abstract:
An embroidering system comprises a plurality of embroidering machine each connectable to a single control unit. Various characters or patterns are stored in a floppy disc installed in the contol unit, from which pattern data designating a desired pattern combination can be read out and transferred to a memory in the control unit responsive to key entry operation. By repeated key entry operation, plural series of stitch control data including the pattern data are in a lump stored in the memory. Among them, a specific series of the stitch control data can be read out in response to a pattern renewal signal which is generated by manual depression of a corresponding key arranged on the embroidering machine each time when the preceding embroidering operation has been completed.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process which produces precision ground articles such as tungsten carbide burs without the use of skilled craftsmen. An automatic apparatus is described which is capable of performing the motions necessary to produce a machined given object and includes a control system for automated bur grinding. The process also converts geometric bur definitions into instructions that will produce the proper actions by the automated grinding.
Abstract:
A control device for use in a sewing machine and a control method in which the memory contents of a memory element are read when a servo microcomputer generates an interrupt. The control device also changes sewing data by specifying a rewriting format when sewing data are changed, automatically detects the rewriting of the memory contents of a rewritable memory element due to noise, and restores the memory contents to their original state before they have actually been rewritten.
Abstract:
A numerically-controlled (NC) machine tool includes a machining center (1), a NC machine (2) for controlling the machining center (1) and an operator control panel (3) placed thereto. A floppy disk unit (4) is provided at the operator control panel (3) of the NC machine tool in such a way that a floppy disk (12) can be set in the floppy disk unit (4).
Abstract:
A transportable semiconductor memory is used as working storage for the workpiece program in numerically controlled machine tools with manual input. The content of the semiconductor memory can be transferred to an external data carrier in a separate archive room.
Abstract:
An apparatus for cutting fabrics and the like includes a workbench on which the fabric is placed, a first movable carriage freely movable in one direction along one side of the work bench, and a second movable carriage mounted on the first carriage which is freely movable in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the first carriage. A cutting means, including a heated tip, is swingably mounted on the second carriage, and the heated tip is swingable into contact with the fabric for cutting a desired mark or pattern out of the fabric. The apparatus additionally includes an absorbent member for cleaning the heated tip after a cutting operation. The apparatus permits an automatic and efficient cutting operation for marks and can be manufactured economically.
Abstract:
In a line computer used for controlling a manufacturing line control system, in which a high speed CPU and low speed I/O devices are used, optimum bus timing for signal transmission is generated, which has sufficient time margin to adjust any speed differences between the high speed CPU and the low speed I/O devices. Also, the function of a calender clock is improved so that accurate timing is generated. Furthermore, the display memory in a CRT displaying controller is used effectively so that the number of memory elements is reduced. Moreover, the connection system between the CPU board and the I/O boards or floppy disk drives is improved so that abnormality of the peripheral equipment does not extend to the CPU board. Also, in the invention, a compiler type language, such as the C language, can coexist with an interprepter type language, such as the BASIC language.
Abstract:
A control system of an industrial robot includes an operation program read out from a storage medium and deciphered and calculated to obtain data so that a robot machine is controlled on the basis of the data. An external memory has function of a conventional internal memory and it is limited to store one program in, for example, an IC card constituting the storage medium and the IC card is inserted into the external memory to supply the operation program. A plurality of operation programs are previously stored in, for example, a floppy disk device constituting a recording medium of the external memory and a desired program is selected by a keyboard to directly supply it to the controller of the robot to operate the robot.
Abstract:
A device for controlling a manipulator for handling a workpiece processed by a press brake. The press brake is equipped with a side sensor for detecting the horizontal X-axis direction positions parallel to the longitudinal direction of the upper and lower dies of the press brake. The manipulator is arranged to be movable in the X-axis direction and the head of the manipulator is arranged to be rotatable about first and second shafts of the manipulator. The device includes apparatus for inputting a position of the workpiece for an initial bending stage and apparatus for inputting an angle of rotation of the workpiece about the first and/or second shafts of the manipulator for each of a plurality of bending stages. Apparatus for sequentially calculating a position of the workpiece for the second and subsequent bending stages, based on the initial input of the workpiece which is input from the workpiece initial position input means, and the angle of rotation of the workpiece about the first and/or second shafts at each of the bending stages which is input from the workpiece rotation angle input means is inputted from the workpiece rotation angle input means is inputted is included in the device.
