    摘要: Novel catalyst systems which comprise one or more diimine nickel (II) or palladium (II) complexes, one or more cocatalysts, and aluminophosphate are disclosed. Olefin polymerization processes using those catalyst systems are also disclosed. The inclusion of aluminophosphate can improve the activity or productivity of such catalyst systems, making such catalyst systems active or more active in olefin polymerization under conditions in which they had previously been inactive or insufficiently active.

    摘要: A firefighting training fluid (FFTF) comprising a paraffin blend. The blends of paraffins typically have no less than about two carbon atoms and no more than about twelve carbon atoms. The blends of paraffins may possess Reid vapor pressures in the range from about 2 to about 6.5 pounds per square inch. The blends also typically possess an initial boiling point of not less than about 80 degrees Fahrenheit and an end boiling point of not more than about 370 degrees Fahrenheit. The blends burn relatively cleanly and keep emissions of volatile organic compounds, compounds containing sulfur, smoke, particulates, olefins, and aromatics to a minimum. The blend components mixed to create the blends of paraffins are controlled in order to maintain Reid vapor pressure and initial and end boiling points. Oxygenates may be added to an FFTF in order to further reduce smoke emissions.

    摘要: A process is provided to prepare polyolefins having a multimodal molecular weight distribution comprising contacting at least one mono-1-olefin in a polymerization zone, under polymerization conditions, with a dual catalyst system comprising a first catalyst system which comprises a metallocene catalyst and a cocatalyst and a second catalyst system which comprises diimine nickel complexes which further comprise additional ligands selected from the group consisting of ∝-deprotoned-&bgr;-diketones, ∝-deprotoned-&bgr;-ketoesters, halogens and mixtures thereof. The resultant, recovered polymer has at least a bimodal, or broad, molecular weight distribution.
