    摘要: A valve has a valving element which is rotatably fitted within a valve body. This valving element of the valve is joined by a stem or shaft portion which extends out of the valve body to interact with an actuator and transmit torque to the valving element. In plug valves, pressure needs to be also applied to the valving element to insure a proper closure. The invention relates to a mechanism to adjustably seal the stem/body interface using only one screw that is positioned on the front of the valve cover for easy access. The force generated by the screw is transposed into a vertical force by a rotatable cam. The multiple faces of the cam are used to transmit the force vertically and horizontally and will maintain the mechanism in a straight position.

    摘要: A method of decoding a received data word (r) having been transmitted over a radio communication channel, the corresponding sent data word (m) having been encoded as a code word (c), the method includes:multiplying of the received data word by a parity-check matrix,and if the result of the multiplication is zero: performing an algebraic decoding of the received data word without error correction, otherwise performing an error correction by estimating the transmission error, subtracting the estimated error from the received data word, and performing an algebraic decoding of the result of the subtraction, wherein for estimation of the transmission error is used to identify an approximate location of potential errors and the Viterbi algorithm is only applied for these locations, thus avoiding iterations in error-free areas.

The controller includes a latching module adapted to maintain a state information indicating the present operating state of the one or more light sources. The control circuitry is operable to control delivery of power to the one or more light sources in dependence upon the sensed impedance measure and the determined operating state. The lighting devices may be installed in a conventional lighting circuit that uses momentary toggle switches.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to compounds, compositions and methods for treating or preventing viral infections, in particular, HIV, HBV, and HCV, in human patients or other animal hosts. The compounds are 3′-azido-2′,3′-dideoxy purine nucleosides or phosphonates, and pharmaceutically acceptable, salts, prodrugs, and other derivatives thereof. In particular, the compounds show potent antiviral activity against HIV-1 resistance mutants including HIV-1K65R, HTV-1K70E, HIV-1L74V, HIV-1M184V, HIV-1Q151M and inhibitory activity against HIV-1 RT harboring TAMS or insertion mutations including HIV-1AZT3, HIV-1AZT7, HIV-1AZT9, HIV-1Q151M, or HIV-169insertion. In one embodiment, the compounds are 3′-azido-ddA, 3′-azido-ddG, or combinations thereof, administered with one or more additional antiviral agents that select for TAM mutations and/or the M 184V mutation, along with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

    摘要: An angular mounted optical connector frame. The frame comprises a housing open at a front and a rear to form a central passageway. Ridges are attached to the housing outer portion and one or more may have at least face that defines a mounting notch in combination with the housing walls. The frame also may comprise first and second housings, each having a base, side walls, and a front, joined at the bases thereof to form a single component. The bases and fronts of both the first and second housings are open to first and second cavities formed by the side walls of the first and second housings respectively. A first ridge protrudes from the first housing and defines a mounting notch between itself and the first housing side walls. A second ridge protrudes from the second housing and defines a recession therein for receiving a fastener.
