Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing 2-amino-5-cyano-N,3-dimethylbenzamide of formula (I) by reacting 2-amino-5-cyano-3-methylbenzoic esters or diesters with methylamine.
Abstract:
A wave rotor apparatus is provided. In another aspect of the present invention, a radial wave rotor includes fluid passageways oriented in a direction offset from its rotational axis. A further aspect of the present invention employs stacked layers of generally radial channels in a wave rotor. Moreover, turbomachinery is located internal to a wave rotor in yet another aspect of the present invention. In yet another aspect of the present invention, a radial wave rotor has an igniter and fuel injector. Correctional passages are employed in still another aspect of the present invention wave rotor.
Abstract:
A process for the preparation of 2,2-difluoroethylamine of the formula (I) CHF2CH2NH2 (I) comprising the stages (i) and (ii): stage (i): reaction of 2,2-difluoro-1-haloethane of the formula (II) CHF2—CH2Hal (II) in which Hal is chlorine, bromine or iodine, with prop-2-en-1-amine of the formula (III) to give N-(2,2-difluoroethyl)prop-2-en-1-amine of the formula (IV) preferably in the presence of an acid scavenger, and stage (ii): removal of the allyl group from the N-(2,2-difluoroethyl)prop-2-en-1-amine of the formula (IV) obtained in stage (i) to give 2,2-difluoroethylamine of the formula (I) or a salt thereof.
Abstract:
Processes and apparatuses for partly disassembling tape cassettes having at least one closure flap comprise separating the closure flap from the cassette or from the cassette housing at an early time, before, during or shortly after the opening of the cassette. Several process methods and examples of apparatus are specified. The separating methods and apparatuses can be expediently used for all tape cassettes with one or more closure flaps, it being possible for these to be any type of audio, video and data cassettes.

Abstract:
In the case of a variable-pitch propeller or repeller according to the invention, the pitch-adjusting device is arranged in the hub and formed in such a way that it allows only a numerically limited number of different blade pitches, preferably just two blade pitches, for which purpose the pitch-adjusting device comprises an electrical drive device, for moving the blades from a first blade pitch to a second of the numerically limited number of blade pitches, and an electrically actuable locking device, for locking the blades in the numerically limited number of different blade pitches.

Abstract:
A rotor apparatus is provided. In another aspect, a woven and/or stacked fiber rotor or impeller is used for a water turbine. A further aspect provides a woven and/or stacked fiber rotor or impeller used for a wind turbine. Instill another aspect, a woven and/or stacked fiber rotor or impeller is used for a natural gas compressor. In another aspect, a woven and/or stacked fiber rotor or impeller is used for a geothermal noncondensable gas compressor.
Abstract:
A method and a device for thinly coating a component on all sides are provided. A single layer is applied onto the component by casting in a casting mold, wherein during the casting process the material to be applied moves as laminar flow in the region of the decorative element. For this purpose, a casting mold consisting of a lower and an upper part is provided, in which proceeding from at least one sprue in the upper part to the side of the component to be coated a runner extends in direction of the component to be coated for filling the casting material into the casting mold, wherein in the runner in the vicinity of the component to be coated a retaining groove is provided for distributing the casting material across the width, and wherein the runner has a reduced passage subsequent to the retaining groove.
