    摘要: A gear select lever locking arrangement comprises a gear select lever with a position pin and a manual push button for moving the position pin into a predetermined notch of a position plate from a groove of the position plate after placing the gear select lever in a P (parking) position. When the position pin moves into the predetermined notch, a catch mechanism shifts from an open position to a catch position. In the catch position, a latch assumes a position to prevent the position pin from moving out of the predetermined notch. The catch mechanism is operatively connected to a blocking mechanism such that when the catch mechanism assumes the open position, the blocking mechanism assumes a blocking position wherein a key operated cylinder is blocked from rotating a predetermined position wherein a key is removable from the key operated cylinder. When the catch mechanism assumes the catch position, the blocking mechanism assumes an unblocking position wherein the key operated cylinder is allowed to rotate to the predetermined position. The catch mechanism includes a blocking mechanism control lever and a keeper.

    摘要: A control device for an automatic transmission is disclosed. The control device is provided with a base member mounted on a vehicle body. A shift lever is pivotably supported by the base member. A guide structure and a check structure and a shaft-locking device are mounted on the base member. The shift lever is provided with a positioning pin movable in the axial direction of the shift lever. A guide structure for guiding the shift lever is provided with a positioning plate having a parking position part and a moving position part engaging the positioning pin. The positioning plate is provided with a buffer member at the moving position part. The check structure for moderating motion of the shift lever has a plurality of positioning recesses on the positioning plate and a check arm for contacting the positioning recesses. The shift-locking device for locking the shift lever is provided with a rotary bushing for blocking disengagement of the positioning pin from the parking position part and a shift-lock solenoid for pivoting the rotary bushing when releasing the shift-lock. The rotary bushing and the shift-lock solenoid are mounted on the base member.

    摘要: A bell crank lever is used to operatively interconnect a transmission control cable with a shift lever. The bell crank lever is pivoted about an axis which is located at essentially the same level but separate from the axis about which the shift lever is pivotal. Connection between the shift lever and the bell crank lever is achieved by means of a pin which projects from one side of a shaft which forms part of a detent mechanism, and an elongate slot formed in one end of the bell crank lever.The bell crank lever is pivotally mounted on a plate which forms part of the detent mechanism and in which detent recesses are formed. This facilitates the accurate assembly of the device. Further, as the bell crank lever is pivoted at substantially the same height as the pivot shaft of the shift lever and arranged above the bottom wall of the base bracket, a lever effect equal to that of the conventional construction is achieved. Furthermore, since there is no need for an intermediate shaft, reduction in play and cost are also achieved.

A screw is fitted into an opening of the casing to prevent an access to the manual lock release, and covered by a lid. The screw is engaged with and disengaged from the opening by using a tool.

    摘要: A control cable adjusting arrangement for a gear shift locking arrangement includes a holder portion which accepts an inner cable of a control cable in one end thereof. An outer cable encasing the inner cable is retained by a bracket. The other end of the holder accepts an end of a control rod associated with a gear shift lever. Disposed around the holder is a slider portion movable between a locked and unlocked position determined between two stopper flanges formed on the outer circumference of the holder. The holder and slider are made of an elastic material such as rubber and an end of the holder which accepts the end of the control rod has a flared outer circumference. When the slider is moved from the unlocked position to the locked position the end of the control rod becomes held firmly in the holder and the end of the inner cable held by the holder is drawn tightly such that slack is removed from the inner cable and the relative positions of the inner cable and the control rod may be adjusted by a simple one touch operation.
