摘要: An approaching human threat or vehicle, such as a suicide bomber nearing a secured zone such as a military base, may be detected and classified. A vibration recognition system may detect a systematic vibration event. The entity might be a medium, human, animal, or a passenger vehicle. The system may discriminate between such an event and a background or other vibration event, such as a falling tree limb. A seismic sensor may be employed to detect vibrations generated by footsteps and a vehicle. Seismic waves may be processed locally where the sensor is located. The system may wirelessly communicate with a remote command center. Temporal features of the vibration signals may be modeled by a biologically realistic neural network with good false recognition rates. The models may reject quadrupedal animal footsteps.

A receiving system of the digital broadcast system includes a mobile service data processor, a main service data processor, a controller, and a display module. The mobile service data processor receives mobile service data through a mobile service data path. Herein, the mobile service data configures an RS frame, and the RS frame includes mobile service data including a mobile A/V broadcast signal and at least one channel configuration information on the mobile service data. The main service data processor receives main service data through a main service data path. Herein, the main service data includes a main A/V broadcast signal and a program guide information of the main A/V broadcast. The controller extracts a link information for the program guide service of the mobile A/V broadcast signal from the channel configuration information, and acquires a corresponding program guide information from the main service data processor by using the extracted link information. And, the display module outputs the program guide information acquired from the controller to a display screen.

摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a method of driving the LCD device. The LCD device includes a display panel having a plurality of pixels, a gamma voltage generating unit, and a source driver. The pixels are defined by a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines that cross each other. The gamma voltage generating unit generates a first gamma voltage at a higher voltage level than that of a target gamma voltage determined in advance based on a particular gradation and a second gamma voltage at a lower voltage level than that of the target gamma voltage. The source driver converts digital image data to analog image data by using the first gamma voltage and the second gamma voltage and displays the analog image data on the display panel using a dot inversion method.

摘要: A method and apparatus for error concealment in decoding of a moving picture. The method includes the steps of determining an erroneous macro block in a present frame when the moving picture is decoded, finding a first macro block having a highest similarity to the erroneous macro block and a second macro block having a next highest similarity to the erroneous block in a previous frame by comparing adjacent pixels of respective blocks in the previous frame with adjacent pixels of the erroneous block in the present frame; and replacing the erroneous block by using an average between the found macro blocks having the highest similarity and the second highest similarity to thereby conceal the erroneous macro block. The apparatus includes a parser, an entropy decoder, an inverse quantizer, an inverse converter, and a concealment unit that uses motion compensation from a previous frame to correct a macro block in a current frame.

The system may further include a controller that is configured to extract a feature vector from the output signal of the sensor and to measure one or more likelihoods of the extracted feature vector relative to set {bi} (i=1, . . . , imax) of breach classes bi. The controller may be further configured to classify the detected seismic vibration as a security breach belonging to one of the breach classes bi, by choosing a breach class within the set {bi} that has a maximum likelihood.
