摘要: Disclosed here in is a method of adjusting a tunable illuminating light source with a reflective display for a head mounted display to reduce chromatic artifacts in an image provided to a user's eye. The method includes identifying a color associated with a chromatic-related artifact in a displayed image and adjusting the tunable illuminating light source to reduce the brightness of the color associated with the chromatic-related artifact.

摘要: Disclosure herein concerns a method that includes illuminating a user's eye with an illumination source in a head-worn display, capturing an image of the user's eye with an eye camera in the head-worn display, wherein the image includes an eye glint produced by light from the illumination source that is reflected from a surface of the user's eye, determining a size of an eye glint in the captured image, and identifying a change in focus distance for the user's eye in correspondence with a change in the size of the eye glint.

摘要: Head-worn computers may include a rigid optical chassis mechanically configured to provide a stable optical mounting reference plane with an image source reference plane, a first image source mounted on the image source reference plane and configured to project a first image light from the stable optical mounting reference plane to a combiner positioned in front of a user's eye when the head-worn computer is worn by the user, an outer frame configured to hold the optical chassis such that, when worn by the user, the first image light is aligned with the eye of the user, and an arm rotatably mounted on the outer frame and adapted to be positioned on a user's ear, wherein the arm comprises a battery compartment and a wire connected to at least the first image source.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method, comprising: acquiring environmental real-time video from a camera system an environment; communicating the video to a content rendering engine; causing the rendering engine to generate, in real-time, a lighting model based on the video; rendering virtual content with lighting effects derived from the lighting model; and presenting, in real-time from a vantage point of a user of a head-worn see-through computer display, the virtual content in the environment such that its lighting and reflections appear to be consistent with the lighting and reflections from the environment, wherein the vantage point of the user is derived from a depth map derived from the camera system.
