    Abstract: A method for assembling light emitting diode units and a substrate in a light source module and a structure thereof are provided. The light emitting diode unit is made of a light emitting diode and a carrier. Every light emitting diode has a flanged profile in the bottom to form a leaned plane, and a corresponding hole is formed on the substrate. Hence, when the light emitting diodes are pressed on the surface of a radiator by the substrate to make a closer contact, the light emitting diodes will be able to bear the pressure by the flanged design.

    Abstract: A device for fastening the lighting units in a backlight module is provided. A rigid board partially laps over the adjacent lighting unit or units. The rigid board and the backboard have holes respectively such that a bolt is passed through the holes and locked on a nut. Accordingly the rigid board exerts a compressing strength to fasten the adjacent lighting unit or units onto the backboard.

    Abstract: A backlight module unit and a backlight module are provided. The backlight module unit includes a first light source, a second light source, and an optical barrier. A light source interval is defined between the first light source and the second light source, while a barrier interval is defined between the optical barrier and the second light source. Because the barrier interval is substantially shorter than a half of the light source interval, the backlight module unit mixes the light evenly, and prevents the dark bands from forming due to the disposition of the optical barrier. Thereby, the backlight module that comprises the plural aforesaid backlight units will have no dark bands, mix light evenly, and be thin overall.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a direct-type backlight unit structure, which at least comprises at least one light generation component and at least one reflection mirror. The light generation component is used to generate a light and the reflection mirror is set in a side of the light generation component, wherein the reflection mirror faces to the light generation component to form a paraboloid and the paraboloid extends till a top of the light generation component. The reflection mirror can also be set on the top of the light generation component, and faces to the light generation component to form two paraboloids from a center line of the top of the light generation component. The light generated from the light generation component, especially the upward light, can be reflected by the reflection mirror to turn toward the side direction, and finally intermix uniformly in a mixed space, and pass through a light emitting surface to form a uniform backlight.

    Abstract: A light emitting device adapted for a backlight module of a liquid crystal display is disclosed. The light emitting device comprises a plurality of light emitting units and a light guiding plate having a central portion and at least one side portion. Each of the light emitting units has a luminous surface and the light guiding plate has a plurality of light incident structures. Each of the light incident structures has a light incident surface opposite to the corresponding luminous surface, and a reflective surface forming an included angle with the light incident surface. Light emitted from each of the light emitting units passes through the light incident surface, is totally reflected by the reflective surface and enters into the central portion of the light guiding plate. The mixed reflective light run into the central portion of the light guiding plate and deflects outward to a user's side.
