    摘要: The present invention is related to a coating composition for the production of a magnetically induced image, consisting of volatile components (S) and non-volatile components, the latter consisting of an ink vehicle (I) and magnetically orientable optically variable interference pigment (P), to a process for manufacturing the coating composition, and to the use of the composition for the production of a magnetically induced image coating on a substrate with the help of applied magnetic fields. Said magnetically induced image coating may be used as a security device on value- or identity documents, brand protection labels and the like.

    摘要: A water-based screen printing ink composition which can be used for flexo or gravure printing includes an acrylic or urethane-acrylic copolymer emulsion, a crosslinker, a pigment selected from the group consisting of luminescent pigments, magnetic pigments, optical effect pigments, optically variable pigments, and a catalyst. The crosslinker has at least two different chemical functionalities within the same molecule, a first of which forms a covalent link with the polymer prior to printing and a second of which effects crosslinking of the polymer to cure the printed ink.

    摘要: An intaglio printing ink comprising a first binder compound selected from the group of water-soluble or water-thinnable acrylate oligomers, and optionally, a second monomeric binder compound selected from the group comprising water-soluble or water-thinnable PEG diacrylate or polyethoxylated polyol triacrylate monomers to adjust the viscosity of the ink composition. To initiate polymerization of the binder compounds upon irradiation by electromagnetic radiation or electron beam radiation a photoinitiator is included. Further optional additives, such as pigments, fillers, photosensitizers, stabilizers emulsifiers and security pigments may be present. The ink shows excellent wipeability and allows precipitation from the wiping solution.

    摘要: An ink for the engraved copperplate intaglio printing inks is disclosed, which comprises high-molecular-weight dendritic polymer as a binder component. Inks comprising such polymer can be formulated so as to contain a significantly reduced amount of organic solvent (volatile organic components, VOC) while still being in the appropriate viscosity range required by the intaglio printing process. The printed and cured intaglio ink of the present invention has improved chemical and mechanical resistance properties.
