摘要: A water-based concrete or masonry sealant includes an acrylic- or silicone-modified reaction product of an unsaturated drying oil and an alkyd, the reaction product being dispersed in aqueous solution; and a dispersion of metal salt catalyst in aqueous solution. A method of treating a previously sealed concrete or masonry substrate, includes the steps of applying to the previously sealed concrete or masonry substrate a sealant comprising an acrylic- or silicone-modified reaction product of an unsaturated drying oil and an alkyd, the reaction product being dispersed in aqueous solution; an aqueous dispersion of metal salt catalyst, and water; and allowing the sealant to cure.

摘要: A communication system can utilize a STANAG 5066 profile and include a data rate link mechanism. The data rate link mechanism can reside in a linking layer, such as, a subnetwork management sublayer according to the STANAG 5066 application. The mechanism allows data rate change functions of HF messages to increase throughput upon link establishment. Link quality can be determined by LQA signals generated according to MIL-STD-188-141B profiles.

摘要: A refill is provided that is packaged in a recyclable assembly of recyclable plastic and recyclable paper or cardboard. The refill is further constructed from recyclable plastic and uses soy resins for the ink. On a barrel of the ink refill is a graduated scale indicative of the amount of writeout of ink remaining in the pen. In addition, a follower, such as a floating ball or chemical chaser, clearly identifies the level of ink remaining in the refill. The assembly may further include a scale corresponding to the scale on the refill and may further include information relating to the recyclability utilization of the assembly and refill.

摘要: A packaging card holding a device, such as a refill for a pen, and a method for packaging such a device are provided. The card has a front panel, a center panel and a back panel. The center panel may be transposed with respect to the front panel and the back panel. The center panel includes information related to the device on the card. The center panel may be rotatable or may be transposed parallel to or perpendicular to lengths of the front panel and the back panel. Preferably, each of the front panel and the back panel have an aligned aperture for suspending the card from, for example, a display hook.

摘要: A water-reducible curing and sealing compound for coating concrete substrates is formed by combining a water-soluble salt of an acrylic polymer resin with an alkanolamine. The resulting compound is low in volatile organic compounds (VOC) and achieves the appearance and performance characteristics of traditional curing and sealing compounds containing petroleum-based solvents. In particular, the compound comprises a polymer resin that comprises three monomers, namely a vinyl aromatic monomer, an ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid, and acrylic or methacrylic acid, in a water-miscible solvent; an alkanolamine; and water.

摘要: A pressurized refill and a method for pressurizing a refill are provided. The refill has a plug secured at an end of the refill having multiple seals between the plug and an interior wall of the refill. A valve extends through a channel of the plug allowing pressurized gas to be forced into an interior of the refill to pressurize or re-pressurize the interior of the refill. A spring loaded stem maintains the valve in a closed and sealed position when pressurization is not being effected.
