摘要： A bandage application system of the present for hemorrhage control and/or tissue repair of the gastrointestinal tract, such as the gastrointestinal tract is provided. The system comprises a bandage for hemorrhage control and/or tissue repair of the gastrointestinal tract. It also includes an apparatus for introducing the bandage into a treatment area of the gastrointestinal tract requiring hemorrhage control and/or tissue repair, and for removing the apparatus from the treatment area without displacing the bandage from being adhered to the treatment area, and without damaging the gastrointestinal tract. Furthermore, it also has a device for adhering the bandage to the treatment area.

摘要： A delivery device includes first and second housing portions that selectively engage and disengage. A reservoir on one housing portion operatively engages a drive device and/or a needle inserting device on the other housing portion. Upon proper engagement of the housing portions, the reservoir operatively couples to the drive device and/or the needle inserting device. A first magnet on the first housing portion and a second magnet (or a magnetically-attractive material) on the second housing portion are positioned to magnetically interact with each other, upon operative engagement of the housing portions. A third magnet on the second housing portion may be opposed to the first magnet to help align the housing portions for connection. A magnet-responsive device may be on one or both housing portions to detect alignment and/or connection of the housing portions.

摘要： A fractionated sample collection process and device having at least one pressurized chamber used to gather and store liquid samples generated from a flow stream containing a mixture of highly compressed gas, compressible liquid, or supercritical fluid and a relatively incompressible liquid. A bank of multiple collection chambers is secured together in a frame to form a cassette unit. Each collection chamber may house a replaceable liner such as a test tube vial, to hold a fractionated liquid phase sample. After filling with sample, a collection chamber is returned to a clean state and ready for refilling with a new sample by manually or automatically replacing the liner.
