Abstract: Disclosed herein is a disposable set for operation with first and second concentrate containers in fluid communication with first and second concentrate container connectors. The disposable set includes a pumping cassette comprising at least a first concentrate port and a second concentrate port. The disposable cassette also includes a first concentrate line in fluid communication with the first concentrate port and a second concentrate line in fluid communication with the second concentrate port. The first concentrate line terminates at a first concentrate line connector having a first configuration for mating with the first concentrate container connector. The second concentrate line terminates at a second concentrate line connector having a second, different configuration for mating with the second concentrate container connector, such that the first concentrate line connector cannot mate with the second concentrate container connector and the second concentrate line connector cannot mate with the first concentrate container connector.

Abstract: A syringe pump includes a lead screw, a motor, and a sliding block assembly. The lead screw has threads and the motor is coupled to the lead screw to rotate it. The half-nut housing has a half nut and a barrel cam. The half nut is disposed within the half-nut housing. The half nut has half-nut threads at an end adjacent to the lead screw void. The half nut engages or disengages with the threads of the lead screw. The half nut includes a half-nut cam-follower surface and a half nut slot. The barrel cam is disposed within the half-nut housing and engages with the half-nut cam-follower surface. The barrel cam includes a pin to fit within the half nut slot such that the barrel cam rotates between a first position and a second position to actuate the half nut between the engagement position and the disengagement position, respectively.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an RDID tag enabled shield assembly that provides a sterile enclosure of a medicament delivery port of a medicament container. Abstract: A pump includes a reservoir, a port, and a plunger. The reservoir delivers a liquid by discharging the liquid through the port coupled to the reservoir. A piston of the plunger defines a liquid side of the reservoir and a non-liquid side of the reservoir whereby movement of the plunger towards the liquid side of the reservoir discharges liquid through the port. The pump also includes a reference-volume assembly and/or a linear position sensor. The reference-volume assembly is coupled to the reservoir at an opposite end of the reservoir relative to the port and includes a reference-volume chamber in acoustic communication with the non-liquid side of the reservoir, a speaker disposed within the reference-volume chamber, and a reference microphone disposed within the reference-volume chamber. The pump estimate the amount of liquid discharged from the reservoir.

Abstract: A peritoneal dialysis system includes a water purifier, a cycler, and a disposable set operable with the cycler. The disposable set includes a pumping cassette including a water inlet port, a heater/mixing container in fluid communication with the pumping cassette, a water accumulator, a first water line segment, and a second water line segment. Abstract: A system and method that identifies delayed infusion programs at an infusion pump or with a first computer and an infusion pump. The first computer receives an infusion auto-program from a remote source, transmits the infusion auto-program to the infusion pump, and sends a stale auto-program to the infusion pump. The infusion pump receives a manual infusion program, saves and executes the manual infusion program, and compares the stale auto-program to the manual infusion program to identify potential matches between the stale auto-program and the manual infusion program. The infusion pump evaluates the potential matches and determines if the potential matches are within a predefined tolerance, continues to execute the at least one manual infusion program on the infusion pump if the potential matches are within the predefined tolerance, and remotely saves differences in the manual infusion program and the at stale auto-program in a remote server for later analysis.

Abstract: A medicament preparation system includes a water purification module and a medicament proportioning module that is interoperable with a replaceable fluid circuit. The fluid circuit includes a purified water inlet, a product medicament outlet, and a plurality of pumping tube segments. At least a first concentrate container is connected by at least a portion of the fluid circuit to the product medicament output and a first concentration measurement sensor station is positioned in a flow path. A controller is programmed to calculate iteratively a concentration of a first concentrate from the first concentrate container and the purified water from a signal generated by the first concentration measurement sensor station and to regulate one or both of a first pumping actuator engaged with the first pumping tube segment and a second pumping actuator engaged with the second pumping tube segment, responsively to the concentration of the first concentrate and water.
