摘要: A compression system for an ergonomic backpack is disclosed. The backpack includes a backpack body having a top side, a bottom side, two lateral sides, a body side, an outer side and a pair of shoulder straps. In the embodiment, each shoulder strap is connected at a junction of the top side and the body side, extended along the corresponding lateral side, threaded through the D-ring with a distal end connected to the backpack body at a junction of the outer side and the lateral side. The invention also comprises an optional back panel and an optional back support device, secured to the body side. The back panel and support device may be filled with padding material such as a gel, foam, rubber, fluid or the like. When the user ties the two straps, the backpack is automatically compressed and moves closer to the user's back The system, operated like a regular two-strap backpack, allows the user to carry heavier loads for a longer period of time with less fatigue.

摘要: The present invention describes a novel antibacterial treatment on textile materials using polymeric core-shell particles dispersing in water. These particles are prepared from a surfactant-free emulsion polymerization according to the method of U.S. Pat. No. 6,573,313 and have average particle sizes in the range of 100 to 1000 nm in diameter. When applied to a textile article, the particles form a uniform coating, which prevents the growth of bacteria and microbes. The treatment does not affect the fabric mechanical properties, hand feeling and appearance. Antibacterial activity on cotton is maintained even after 50 times of home laundering.

摘要: A short-range wireless power transmission scheme is used between two movably or detachably coupled device parts in an electronic device. In a device, such as a foldable or slidable mobile phone, both device parts have some electronic components that require electronic power but only one part has a power source. For example, a phone cover has a display but there is no power source in the phone cover. A receiver can be implemented in the cover to receive microwaves from a transmitter in the phone body. The receiver and the transmitter can be arranged such that, the antennas are placed as close to each other as possible in order to achieve best efficiency of energy and data transfer. If one pair of antenna is not enough, multiple antennas or antenna arrays can be used for this purpose. Different antenna pairs can be configurable for different purposes.

摘要: Amphiphilic, magnetic composite particles are comprised of cores and shells. The core contains both hydrophobic vinylic graft copolymer, hydrophobic vinylic homopolymer and magnetic nanoparticles, and the shell to which the hydrophobic vinylic polymer is grafted is a hydrophilic, nitrogen-containing polymer. Typically, the composite particles are made by a process which involves generating radicals on nitrogen atoms of the water-soluble polymer, and then initiating free-radical copolymerization of said vinylic monomer(s) and vinylic-coated magnetic nanoparticles, whereby vinylic polymer(s) undergo(es) phase separation and the vinylic coated magnetic nanoparticles are encapsulated within the vinylic polymer to form a composite latex.

摘要: A shoe cushion for safety shoes includes a plurality of combination pieces pivotally connected with each other. Each of the combination pieces has a first side formed with a pivot shaft and a second side formed with a pivot groove. The pivot shaft of a first combination piece is inserted into and pivotally mounted in the pivot groove of an adjacent second combination piece. Thus, the combination pieces can be pivoted relative to each other so that the shape of the shoe cushion is changed freely so as to conform to the profile of the shoe sole of the shoe body and the profile of the user's one foot, thereby providing a comfortable sensation to the user wearing the shoe.

摘要: Brown stock washing of wood pulp is improved by adding a water-soluble cationic polymer to the wash water. The cationic polymer reacts with lignin solution present in the larger channels in the pulp mat to give a precipitate which lowers the flow rate of wash water through the larger channels. A more efficient wash water usage is obtained.

摘要: A modular power device is used for mounting on a main plate. The modular power device includes a first substrate, a driving module and a converting module. The first substrate having a first axial direction and a second axial direction substantially perpendicular to the first axial direction is inserted into the main plate, such that the second axial direction is substantially perpendicular to the main plate. The driving module is located on one side of the first substrate and electrically connected thereon. The converting module is located on the other side of the first substrate and electrically connected to the driving module. A length of the converting module is substantially equal to that of the first substrate in the first axial direction, and a width of the converting module is smaller than a length of the first substrate in the first axial direction.
