摘要： A via on a printed circuit board having a circuit has a first interconnect and a second interconnect located about at least a portion of the first interconnect. The second interconnect connects to ground of the circuit and is coaxial and substantially concentric with the first interconnect and inductively coupled with the first interconnect. A method of electrically interconnecting at a via multiple layers on a printed circuit board to provide a common ground plane for a circuit is also provided. A high speed interconnection can be attained by allowing the ground return path for a circuit carried on multiple layers of a multilayer printed circuit board to remain coupled to the signal, thereby lowering ground inductance and maintaining signal integrity, even at UHF, while minimizing costs.

摘要： Disclosed are a method and an assembly for bulk transport. An inflatable bladder is inserted into a container and disposed proximal and above a gravity-fed aperture. The container may be, for instance, a hopper rail car. A bulk material then is introduced into the container, the bulk material being, for instance, a grain-based material such as corn gluten feed. The bladder is positioned and preferably secured laterally with respect to the aperture to impede access to the aperture by the bulk material. When the container has reached the transport destination, the bladder is deflated. If the bulk material has set up during transport, access to the aperture nonetheless will have been maintained.

摘要： A power on-off reset generator for monitoring a power supply for a logic system powered from the monitored power supply. A precision-voltage sensor produces a control signal for a time delay circuit when the power supply rises above a preselected value. A delay signal is generated which maintains an active-LOW control signal to the logic system and causes a Schmitt trigger circuit to produce a HIGH control signal to the logic system at the end of the delay signal.

摘要： To seal the top cover of a vacuum travelling web filter, the top cover is lowered, by gravity, with a depending rim fitting against an upstanding rim of a filtrate chamber pan; the contaminant chamber above the filter web is closed off, and supply of filtrate is inhibited. Upon starting of the pump, a vacuum will result within the two chambers, drawing the cover tightly against the filtrate pan and, when a sufficient vacuum has been reached indicative of sealing engagement, supply of contaminant can be opened to draw contaminant into the upper chamber. As the filter cake builds up, further change in pressure in the contaminant chamber will result which, when a predetermined operating pressure level is reached, causes interruption of supply of contaminated fluid, and opening of an air vent valve to dry the resulting filter cake. Sealing fluid can be introduced between the engaging rims of the cover and the filtrate holding pan, between which rims the filter web is interposed, for example by introducing filtered fluid into a groove between the rims, or by introducing an inert gas. Preferably, filtered fluid is used which will be drawn back to the pump upon pump operation. A bypass line of filtered fluid to the pump prevents dry running thereof.

摘要： Fluid supplied from a contaminant tank holding the fluid to be filtered, and delivered at a filtered fluid outlet, is supplied to a filter housing which defines a chamber therein subdivided by a perforate divider plate over which the filter paper is guided, and on which it is supported. The filter paper subdivides the chamber in an upper, or contaminant chamber, and a lower, or filtrate chamber. The lower or filtrate chamber is connected to a vacuum and suction pump. The upper portion of the housing can be raised off the filtrate paper and its support to permit movement of the filtrate paper. The contaminated fluid to be filtered is guided from the contaminant tank to the upper filter chamber, without any intermediate pumping apparatus or the like, all pumping being done by the suction and vacuum pump connected to the filtrate chamber, so that pumping equipment connected to the installation need not handle contaminated materials which may contain obstructing, abrasive or cutting particles, such as metal shavings, husks of plant material used in oil extraction processes, or the like, or toxic or biologically contaminated materials.
