    摘要: A method involves sheathing a superconductor with a thermoplastic insulation material on all sides. The conductor exits a guide channel that extends in the propulsion direction. A melt hose is extruded from the molten insulation material in the propulsion direction and through a nozzle that has an outlet which embraces the conductor, whereby a distance is kept on all sides. The melt hose is stretched via the propulsion of the conductor. The hose is drawn to the surface of the conductor and is compacted by cooling. The method can especially be used for sheathing band-shaped high-Tc-superconductors. Materials having processing temperatures between 200° C. and 450° C., are selected as thermoplastic insulation materials.

    摘要: A support body comprising several support elements lined up one behind the other is disclosed. More particularly, each support element includes a structure which is formed by support rings connected together by bridge members and which is provided at one end with extensions which can engage or be pushed into the end or last support ring of a preceding support element. Moreover, each support element is provided with additional means for limiting the degree of sliding-apart of the element from the element to which it is connected. The present support body has the advantage that its support elements as well as the connections between such elements are sufficiently mechanically stable so that no special guides for the support elements are necessary when the former are being wrapped.

    摘要: An electric machine has a rotor that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, and an especially superconducting winding which is to be cooled to a low temperature. The winding is enveloped by a securing means with a wrap. The outer contour of the wrap of the securing means increases from a smaller outside diameter to a greater outside diameter in the axial direction. The wrap is surrounded in a force-fitting manner by several securing rings which are arranged one behind another and have an inside diameter which conforms to the respective outside diameter of the outer contour.

    摘要: An aspect of the invention relates to a machine comprising a rotor mounted so it can rotate about a rotational axis, and a superconductive winding located in a winding support. Further, connection devices are provided to retain the winding support inside a rotor external housing. To compensate changes caused by the expansion of the winding support, a connection device should have at least one connection element that extends axially with one end of the element connected to the winding support in a fixed manner, and the opposite free end connected to a centering retaining element of the rotor eternal housing in a non-positive radial fit, so it can be displaced axially.

    摘要: The engine has a rotor rotationally mounted about a rotational axis and is provided with a superconductive winding arranged in a winding support. In order to fix the winding support inside an external rotor housing, a rigid connecting device having a hollow cylindrical connecting element made of fiber reinforced plastic is provided on the torque transmitting side. The connecting element is configured as a single piece and consist of end parts located on the front face and a central part located between the latter, wherein the end parts are corrugated in peripheral direction and are non-corrugated in the central part. The end parts of the connecting element are connected to and engine with one another in a non-positive fit manner in groovelike recesses of flangelike end pieces made of metal.

    摘要: The machine contains a rotor with a hot rotor housing in which a cold part with a superconductive rotor winding is located. A part which acts as a baffle screen is provided on the outside of the rotor housing, facing a stator. Supporting elements are intended to be provided at predetermined points between the hot housing and the cold part, extending in the radial direction to such an extent that, during normal operation of the machine, a short separation is in each case formed between the supporting elements and the hot housing or the cold part, and such that a force fit is produced between the hot housing and the cold part via the supporting elements only in the event of a defect which leads to deformation of the hot housing of the machine.
