Abstract:
The present invention describes an oil-in-water emulsion composition for wet-wipes delivering an improved body cleansing performance while providing a gentle and smooth feeling to the user.
Abstract:
A method and system for communicating a synergy between at least one absorbent articles product and at least one wipes product. Said method and system capable of directing a consumer to select a particular combination of absorbent articles product and wipes product. Said method and system including at least one absorbent articles product and at least one wipes product, wherein said at least one wipes product having a synergistic effect with said at least one absorbent articles product. Said method and system also including a communication for directing a consumer to select a particular combination of said at least one absorbent articles product and said at least one wipes product so as to benefit from said synergistic effect.
Abstract:
An article of commerce includes a disposable cleaning article and a package. The package exhibits soft visual and sound characteristics, which convey a desired quality to be associated with the enclosed cleaning article. The package is formed as a multilayer packaging film including at least a co-extruded vapor barrier film layer and a polymeric film layer having a melting point at least about 20° C. less than the co-extruded film layer laminated to the co-extruded film layer. The polymeric film layer is sealable to form the package so as to enclose the disposable cleaning article, thereby to substantially retain the water content of the disposable cleaning article. The polymeric film layer further exhibits a corrected sound level of less than approximately 50 decibels at readily audible frequencies, such as 3-5 kHz. The reduced sound level may be achieved by providing a film with a high loss tangent. In addition, the multilayer packaging film may have an outer surface with a soft or “matte” appearance.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a wet wipe made up of a substrate impregnated with a cleaning lotion where the cleaning lotion includes a particulate material.
Abstract:
A system comprising a moisture containing cleansing article and a visual pH indicator changing color at a pH above 4.0. The system can comprise a buffer, having preferably a pKa above 5.5. The system can comprise a set of instructions for evaluating moisture containing cleansing articles. The pH buffer of the system can have a pKa value equal to or greater than the pH of the color change of the visual pH indicator. The pH of color change of the visual pH indicator can be equal to or greater than the pH of the lotion. The system can be used to evaluate the pH of moisture containing cleansing article lotions and to quantify the ability to neutralize alkalinity such as the alkalinity provided by residues of feces and urine over time on the skin of a baby.
Abstract:
A molded fibrous structure comprising a continuous molded element. The continuous molded element may be one-dimensional. A method for making a molded fibrous structure comprising a continuous molded element. A substrate for use as a wipe made from a molded fibrous structure.
Abstract:
The disclosure is directed to an interactive packaging system for monitoring the usage of personal hygiene products, personal hygiene product packages, and restroom facilities. The interactive packaging system may include a plurality of usage monitoring devices each configured to detect physical stimulus associated with the usage of the product, package or facility with which the usage monitoring device is associate, and to transmit usage messages containing information relating to the detected physical stimulus. The interactive packaging system may further include a base station configured to receive the usage messages transmitted by the plurality of usage monitoring devices and to generate sensory perceptible outputs corresponding to the information contained in the usage messages. Either the usage monitoring devices or the base station may be configured to determine whether the products, packages or facilities are used appropriately based on the detected physical stimulus.
Abstract:
A combination toothbrush and toothpaste dispenser, and method, are adapted for use by a child. The dispenser provides an easily actuatable activator that, when operated, discharges a predetermined amount of toothpaste from an orifice. The toothbrush is adapted to automatically lift the toothbrush head off of a support surface to a height near that of the dispenser orifice. As a result, a child may focus on manipulating one item at a time when loading a toothbrush with toothpaste.
Abstract:
Flexible, stable, and easily opened packages are disclosed. The package may be made from an outer highly flexible material defining a surface stable bag having a bottom four side walls and an opening portion. The opening portion may have a rigid reinforcing member attached to it. The rigid reinforcing member may be movable between a stable open and a stable closed configuration with one hand, allowing a user to open and close the package with one hand. Packages may be provided with moisture barrier properties to contain moisture containing personal articles, and dual bag configurations may be employed.
Abstract:
A molded fibrous structure comprising a molded element. The molded element may be hollow. The molded elements may provide for an increase in the fluid uptake of the fibrous structure. The molded element may provide a texture impression of a high level molded fibrous structure.
