    摘要: A sealing panel device for use with a guillotine well having a length, width, and depth is provided. In some embodiments the device may comprise an elongate panel having a length and width that is greater than the length and width of the guillotine well. A first arm and a second arm may be coupled to the elongate panel. The first arm may comprise a width greater than the width of the guillotine well and a depth greater than the depth of the guillotine well. The second arm may comprise a width greater than the width of the guillotine well and a depth greater than the depth of the guillotine well. A sealing gasket may be coupled to the elongate panel, first arm, and second arm which may extend around the guillotine well when the device is positioned over the guillotine well of a Modular Causeway Systems section.

    摘要: An apparatus for dispensing an amount of fluid is disclosed where the amount of fluid and the pressure thereof is controlled by the height of the fluid relative to the spray mechanism that can dispense the fluid. A reservoir is positioned above the spray mechanism such that a column of fluid constitutes the reservoir of fluid. The height of the fluid reduces upon actuation of the spray mechanism. A controller detects the initial height of fluid and the height of the fluid after the dispensing operation to determine the amount of fluid dispensed. The controller is programmed with a parameter for the amount of fluid to be dispensed. If the determined amount of fluid dispensed is not within the parameters, the controller operates an iterative process to refill the reservoir to an amount such that during subsequent spraying operations, the amount dispensed approaches the parameter amount of fluid.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for printing graphic images by laser thermal transfer uses a laser source and a programmable pulse generator to transmit a pulsed infrared laser beam in accordance with a printing program of image data to print graphic images on sheet material. The pulsed laser beam is transmitted through a focusing lens, and the focused beam is in turn scanned by a scanning device through a laser window assembly into an ink web along a line of laser impingement. The ink web contains a layer of printing ink and overlies the sheet material supported on a roller platen. The laser window presses the ink web into the sheet material against the roller platen along the line of laser impingement to facilitate the transfer of ink from the web to the sheet in accordance with the printing program of image data. The focusing lens and laser window are highly transmissive at the selected wavelength of the laser beam to permit the passage of substantially all radiation into the layer of printing ink along the line of laser impingement.
