摘要: A system extracts power from a typical high voltage (200-500 vdc) grid tie solar system and deliver it to a low voltage (12-24 vdc) battery bank. This product parallel connects in between an existing grid tie solar array, and an existing grid tie inverter, transforming the voltage down, and acting as a charge controller, engaging and disengaging as necessary to keep the low voltage battery bank at a high state of charge. This system enables the grid tie PV array to have a second use as the energy source for a low DC voltage off grid system. This system, when combined with standard low DC voltage grid inter-active off grid inverter/charger, and a battery bank, forms a complete off grid system, while allowing the host grid tie system to function normally when the grid is on.

摘要: A microfluidic device and method for assessing properties of a fluid. The device includes a base supported by a substrate and a tube extending from the base and spaced apart from the substrate surface. The tube has an internal passage, first and second portions adjacent the base and defining, respectively, an inlet and outlet of the passage, and a distal portion. A drive electrode is located on the substrate surface adjacent the distal portion of the tube. Sensing electrodes are located on the substrate surface adjacent the first and second portions of the tube, and are adapted for sensing deflections of the first and second portions when vibrated with the drive electrode and from which the fluid property is determined. A pair of electrodes is located on the substrate surface between the drive and sensing electrodes, and are operated to enhance the performance of the microfluidic device, such as by supplementing the drive or sensing electrodes.

摘要: A motorized rack and pinion assembly for use in a motor vehicle in association with a running board or step assist beam comprising a housing and a motor mounted to the housing. A drivetrain is disposed within the housing and is driven by the motor. A driveshaft is engaged with the drivetrain and extends out from the housing. At least two pinions are fixed to the driveshaft. The motorized rack and pinion assembly further includes at least two extending members having a rack bar fixed thereon. The pinions of the driveshaft are meshingly engaged with the rack bar of the extending member. The motor drives the drivetrain, the drivetrain rotates the driveshaft and therefore the pinions, and the pinions engage the rack bars thereby moving the extending member between the retracted position and the extended position.

摘要: Database administrators input database object characteristics and constraints, and maintenance tasks such as object statistics, reorganization, copy, and recovery tasks are prioritized and balanced with a dynamically generated grid of tasks. Reorganization tasks are directly linked to statistics generation and threshold violation analysis. Recovery tasks are automatically generated from copy tasks. The dynamically generated grid distributes database objects across concurrent procedures, based on criteria such as cumulative job size so that each set of procedures process approximately the same amount of data. Maintenance procedures are built and executed in a controlled manner according to maintenance policies of an organization. The user knows what objects will be processed, prior to a maintenance window.

摘要: A reversible threshold is provided for positioning beneath a door mounted in a door frame. The threshold includes a base and a riser which is removably connected to the base and provides a sealing surface for the bottom edge of the door. The riser has a sloped upper surface to carry water away from the door. The base can be placed in one orientation for an in-swing door mounting and another position for an out-swing door mounting. The riser is also reversible so that it can be placed with the top surface sloping away from the door when the base is in either orientation.

摘要: A ball delivery device, system, and method housing a plurality of balls for a game session is presented. The ball delivery device includes a mixing chamber, at least one instruction to start the game session, an identifier, at least one arm, a ball holder, a reader and a tube. The mixing chamber receives the balls for the game session. After receiving an instruction to begin the game session, balls are singly drawn from the mixing chamber. The identifier disposed on each ball uniquely identifies each ball. The arm mixes the balls in the mixing chamber. The ball holder disposed on the arm holds a single ball that is randomly selected from the mixing chamber. The reader reads the identifier of the ball selected by the ball holder. The tube receives each selected ball and holds the selected balls after the identifier reads the ball and until completion of the game session.
