    摘要： A seed-containing crayon includes an elongated member formed of a marking composition to leave a colored mark on a surface when the elongated member contacts the surface. The marking composition is formed of a wax, a pigment, and a plant nutrient that is activated by application of water to the elongated member. Plant seeds are embedded in the marking composition of the elongated member. The crayon can include a paper band that at least partially surrounds the elongated member along at least part of the length of the elongated member in which the plant seeds are embedded.

    摘要： A surfboard leash apparatus is disclosed. The surf leash apparatus includes a cuff for attaching to a limb of a surfer, the cuff having an inner surface, the inner surface of the cuff having a pattern of compressible grips disposed thereon. The surf leash further includes an attachment mechanism for attaching to a surfboard, and a leash cord connected between the cuff and the attachment mechanism. The leash cord includes an elastic fiber rope core having a predetermined amount of stretch, and an extruded thermoplastic urethane cord surrounding the elastic fiber rope core. The extruded thermoplastic urethane cord has an elasticity corresponding to the predetermined amount of stretch of the elastic fiber rope.

    摘要： A polymer phase colored performance fabric is disclosed, which is formed of a fabric of a solution dyed yarn woven with an elastic yarn, the fabric comprising at least 60% by volume of the solution dyed yarn. The solution dyed yarn is formed of a synthetic substance in a polymer phase that is combined with a colored dye, the combination producing a polymer phase colorant comprising a masterbatch of colored chips, a portion of which is heated to a liquid polymer colorant. The liquid polymer colorant is extruded to form a thread-shaped colored fiber of the synthetic substance, which is then cooled to form the solution dyed yarn.
