摘要： High voltage pad-mounted switch gear is provided for three phase loop feeder circuits and fused load circuits. The loop circuits are interconnected by series-connected loop feeder switches. Isolator switches of the telescoping bayonet type are connected between the loop circuit and the fuses. One end of the isolator switch and one end of the fuse are supported by a molded insulator strut. The molded insulator strut has a first hollow turret projection for guiding and supporting one end of the fuse and a second hollow turret projection for supporting the isolator switch. The turret projections enclose the connection between the fuse and the isolator switch thereby providing greater isolation and insulation between the phases of the loop circuits. A tool is provided for removing and inserting the fuse. An interlocking blocking arrangement prevents access to the fuse by the tool until the isolator switch has opened the circuit to the fuse thereby preventing injury to the serviceman and damage to the equipment.

The system and method may receive data regarding electric power system components, along with a filter selection from a power system operator. The operator's filter selection is applied to the received data, and a first summary is generated. Upon receiving a request to generate a second summary, the system and method apply the filters to the received data to generate a second summary without requiring additional filter selection. The power system operator may then use the generated data in operating the power system.

摘要： Main and auxiliary contact operating rods are sequentially moved to contact open positions by coil tension springs on the sequential tripping of main and auxiliary toggle latches by a mechanism cam on an operating shaft pivoted in one direction. Continued pivoting of the operating shaft in the same direction effects movement of the rods to the contact closed positions. The toggle latches can be tripped sequentially independently of the mechanism cam. An indicator operated in conjunction with the main contact operating rod provides a visible indication of the position of the operating rod and thereby of the contacts.

摘要： Switch construction for power distribution alternating current circuits having a switch blade for pivotal movement into and out of contacts enclosed by an insulating housing having a slot through which the switch blade is movable. A slat is biased transversely of the slot to close off the space between the switch blade and the contacts on opening of the circuit. A gas expansion chamber at the entrance to the slat is closed off by a pair of flexible insulating strips. A gas muffler is located at one end of the expansion chamber. The switch blade, in closed position, is spaced from the housing, the slat and the sealing strips by heat resisting spacers.

In another embodiment the manual operator for the fuse isolator switches is remote from the other switch operators. Arc extinguishing structures for the switch contacts cooperate with the respective switch blades.

摘要： A high voltage center-break disconnecting switch has a resistor and short-circuiting contact assembly connected in series circuit relation and mounted in tandem for operation by one of the rotatable insulators in such fashion that the resistor is short circuited except during the closing movement of the switch blades. At that time the contacts are opened and the resistor is connected in the circuit to limit the inrush current. The contacts are closed as the switch blades are swung to the fully closed position to bypass the resistor when the switch is closed. A weatherproof housing encloses the resistor, short-circuiting contacts and operating mechanism therefor to protect them from contamination by the atmosphere and from rain, sleet, ice and snow.
