    Abstract: A display apparatus and a display method capable of controlling cursor movement are disclosed. The display apparatus includes an input unit which receives an input cursor movement command, a display unit which displays at least one object and a cursor on a screen and moves the cursor according to the cursor movement command, and a control unit which controls the display unit to automatically move the cursor to a target point that corresponds to a direction of movement of the cursor within the object in response to the cursor moving into a range that is set on the basis of the object. Accordingly, a user can select and execute a specified object through an easy and convenient operation.
