摘要: A method for packaging a plurality of semiconductor devices formed in a surface portion of a semiconductor wafer. The method includes: lithographically forming, in a first lithographically processable material disposed on the surface portion of the semiconductor wafer, device exposing openings to expose the devices and electrical contact pad openings to expose electrical contact pads for devices; and mounting a support having a rigid dielectric layer formed on a selected portion of the support, such rigid dielectric layer comprising a second lithographically processable material, such rigid material being suspended over the device exposing openings and removed from portions of the support disposed over the electrical contacts pads openings in the first lithographically processable material. The support is released and removed from the second lithographically processable material, leaving the second photolithographically processable material bonded to the first photolithographically processable material.

摘要: A filter cartridge for use with a filter head assembly and for filtering a stream of pressurized fluid. The filter cartridge comprises a housing enclosing filtering media, a retainer to releasably engage a receiver in a filter head assembly, and one or more rotationally engagable locks securing the filter cartridge to the filter head assembly upon the rotational engagement of the filter cartridge with the filter head assembly. The housing includes an upper end having therein entry and exit passages to permit fluid to enter the housing, pass through the filtering media and exit the housing. Rotational engagement of the filter cartridge with the filter head assembly causes the retainer and said the receiver to releasably secure the filter cartridge to the filter head assembly and to thereby permit fluid to travel from the filter head assembly through the entry passage and to permit fluid to pass from the exit passage into the filter head assembly. The locks help to resist the rotational disengagement of the filter cartridge from the filter head assembly.

摘要: Computer-readable media, computerized methods, and computer systems for managing dynamic allocation of one or more protected memory segments for storing content of secure data are provided. Initially, the secure data is recognized as being carried by a media stream being communicated from a media-reading device. One or more protected target segments and protected target segments are instantiated, where these protected memory segments are protected from illicit access by hardware-based rules. Regions of hardware memory are dynamically allocated to hold these protected memory segments and the secure data is iteratively written thereto. The protected source segments are associating with the media stream based on a license attached thereto, while the protected target segments are associating with presentation devices based on a standard of output protection supported thereby. Accordingly, the protected source segments are mapped to the protected target segments according to whether the license encompasses the standard of the output protection.

摘要: A magnetic write head for perpendicular magnetic recording, the write head having a magnetic write pole configured with a cross section as viewed from the ABS that has a trailing portion with substantially vertical side walls and a leading portion formed with a taper that becomes narrower as it extends toward the leading edge. The write pole provides for excellent write field strength by providing sufficient cross section near the trailing edge to avoid magnetic saturation of the pole tip. The parallel side walls of the trailing portion also provide for excellent track width control during manufacture of the write head. The tapered portion of the write head, which starts some distance away from the trailing edge, prevents skew related adjacent track writing when the actuator that holds the write head is at its innermost or outermost travel extensions.

摘要: Computer-readable media, computerized methods, and computer systems for protecting secure data by writing content of the secure data to a protected memory segment are provided. Initially, streaming media is received from a media-reading device and portions of the streaming media are identified as secure data. A data-management process to protect content within the secure data is executed. During execution, the protected memory segment is instantiated, a region of memory is dynamically allocated to hold the protected memory segment, and content of the secure data is written thereto. The protected memory segment is generally a data store that conditionally limits access thereto utilizing hardware-based rules, thereby guarding the content against exposure to unauthorized systems and to attackers. The region of memory may be allocated on CPU hardware, GPU hardware, or a combination thereof. The content may then be encrypted and released for conveyance to one or more presentation devices.

摘要: In a method for performing an electronic transaction a first transaction part generates a digital signature and an encrypted digital signature. The second transaction party receives both signatures. The second party is enabled to verify the digital signature, but cannot verify or (re)generate the encrypted digital signature. A trusted third party is enabled to verify the encrypted digital signature if the digital signature is also provided, since the trusted third party cannot (re)generate the digital signature. Thus, no other party than the first transaction party can (re)generate both the digital signature and the encrypted digital signature. Therefore, no other party presenting himself as the first transaction party can be verified as being the first transaction party.
