摘要: An improved oven is aimed at optimizing heat transfer and delivering an optimal cooking efficiency in comparison to conventional high-speed cooking ovens. The oven includes tubes that generate plume arrays of a heated gas and introduce them into a cooking chamber of the oven. The tubes may be removably located at the bottom of the cooking chamber of the oven. The tubes are dimensioned for hot air impingement to tighten impingement plume arrays, subject to the space constraints of the oven's cooking chamber. With the optimized cooking efficiency provided by the present invention, high-speed cooking technology may now be extended to ovens operating on a power supply based on a voltage less than 220 volts, preferably between 110 and 125 volts, with more productive results, so that the high-speed cooking technology may find wider applicability and a broader customer base.

摘要: A system and a method for providing a service begins when a customer establishes a communication link, such as a telecommunications link, with a service provider, such as directory assistance. An exchange of information occurs, and a service, such as a telephone number or catalog order, is provided by the service provider at least in part via the communication link. Before the customer terminates the communication link, he or she is requested to provide feedback, which preferably relates to the quality of the service provided. In another embodiment, the exchange of information is monitored, and an action, such as notifying a supervisor, is taken if a predetermined condition is detected, such as usage of unacceptable language by a call handling agent.

摘要: A more efficient search algorithm introduces a variety of new tools and strategies to more efficiently search and retrieve desired records from an electronic database. Among these are a strategy that utilizes the first and last positional characters, or phonemes, to exploit the fact that often last positional character is nearly as important as a first positional character in distinguishing database records from one another. In addition, virtual search parameters, that are not a portion of the database records, can also be utilized in distinguishing database records, such as by identifying a number of characters in a search field for a requested database record as a way of distinguishing that record from all others with a different number of characters. The invention finds potential application in any database search application, but is particularly useful in delivering directory assistance services.

摘要: A lever clamp which can be securely mounted at selected locations along a shelf or similar object includes a body member containing a slot for receiving the shelf, and a lever or clamping member pivotally connected with the body member which serves to clamp the clamp to the shelf when pivoted to an upright position. Items such as a lamp or dispenser, but not including a stop member, partition or banding and binning, are connected with the top of the clamping member to attach such objects to the shelf. A L-shaped body member is also disclosed in which a portion of the clamping member is connected with a stop member, partition, lamp or other item to attach said items to a shelf. Also disclosed are a flex member for the lever clamp which serves to increase the clamping force on the shelf as the load applied to the clamping member increases as well as latching means for the lever clamp and the previously disclosed clamping bookend. A one-piece lever clamp is also disclosed.

摘要: A deck light assembly for attachment to a deck railing includes a C-shaped body with a core nesting within a cover and a top plate extending between two legs. A foot extends inwardly from each of the legs to engage the bottom of the deck railing and secure the deck light assembly thereon. A solar panel on the top plate charges a battery and causes an LED light to illuminate in the absence of ambient light. A shade on the outer surface of one of the legs directs light downwardly. One leg includes a catch with a planar portion biased inwardly to engage the deck railing and configured to flex outwardly to disengage from the deck railing. A nub extends from the catch for application of an outward force to flex the planar portion for attaching or removing the deck light assembly from the deck railing.

摘要: A multi-axis firearm foregrip which is highly adjustable and which enables a firearm to be held or supported in a position which is ergonomic for the user or appropriate for use of the firearm. The foregrip may be rapidly adjusted to a selected one of many different positions as deemed appropriate by the user to enable optimal use of the firearm. The foregrip comprises a mount, a handle and a joint. The mount may be engageable to the firearm, for example to a rail system of the firearm. The handle is adjacent to the mount. The joint engages the handle to the mount and allows for handle movement relative to the mount. In embodiments, the foregrip utilizes a ball-and-socket joint which enables swiveling movement of the handle relative to the mount providing a wide range of handle adjustment before the handle is held at the selected position by the foregrip.
