摘要： A first delay circuit delays a digital composite color video signal by a one-scanning-line time. A second delay circuit delays the output signal of the first delay circuit by the one-scanning-line time. A first correlation detector detects a correlation between the digital composite color video signal and the output signal of the first delay circuit. A second correlation detector detects a correlation between output signals of the first and second delay circuits. A coefficient generator generates first and second coefficients corresponding to magnitudes of the correlation-detect outputs of first and second correlation detectors. A first difference-signal detector detects a difference signal of the digital composite color video signal and the output signal of the first delay circuit. A second difference-signal detector detects a difference signal of the output signals of the first and second delay circuits. A first weighting section weights the difference signal from the first difference-signal detector with the first coefficient provided from the coefficient generator. A second weighting section weights the difference signal from the second difference-signal detector with the second coefficient provided from the coefficient generator. A chrominance signal component outputting section adds together output signals of the first and second weighting sections to separate and output a chrominance signal component contained in the digital composite color video signal.

摘要： A television signal scanning line converting apparatus, where an intra-frame average signal and inter-frame average signal are obtained by processing a progressive scanning signal in a unit of two frames with a delaying circuit and adders. A lowpass filter limits the horizontal and vertical bands of an intra-frame difference signal to reduce the field amount. If the input progressive scanning signal is a moving picture, the low vertical range of the intra-frame difference signal will be multiplexed to the high vertical range part of the intra-frame average signal and the high vertical range of the intra-frame difference signal will be transmitted separately so that the resolution of the moving picture will improve and no deterioration, caused by the turning distortion, will be produced.

摘要： In a band compression apparatus, an input signal is separated into high- and low-frequency components H and L by an LPF and an adder. The component H is in-frame-averaged by an in-frame average circuit. The component L is output as a signal S.sub.3 having a large energy via a field delay circuit and a switch circuit. An in-frame difference of the low-frequency component L is obtained by a field delay circuit and an adder. This in-frame differential signal S.sub.2 is added to an in-frame average signal S.sub.1 by an adder. A signal S.sub.4 having a small energy is obtained by this addition. In a band restoration apparatus the signals S.sub.3 and S.sub.4 are separated into signals of two fields by an adder and a switch circuit. A signal S.sub.5 consisting of the components L and H is obtained in one field. A signal S.sub.2 consisting of only the component L is obtained in the other field. The signal S.sub.5 is output via a switch circuit. The signal S.sub.2 is added to the signal S.sub.5 in an immediately preceding field by an adder. A signal S.sub.6 consisting of the components L and H is obtained by this addition. The signal S.sub.6 is output via the switch circuit at a timing delayed by one field with respect to the signal S.sub.5.

摘要： A data bandwidth compressor receives an input digital video signal which includes first and second signal components, compresses the data bandwidth of the signal, and outputs a resultant signal. A line difference detector includes a line memory for storing the output signal from the data bandwidth compressor and detects a difference signal between adjacent lines. A frame difference detector includes a frame memory for storing the output signal from the data bandwidth compressor and detects a difference signal between adjacent frames. A motion detector receives the output signal from the data bandwidth compressor and detects an image motion signal included in the output signal. A first separator separates and outputs the first signal component by changing the mixing ratio of the line and frame difference signals, in accordance with the image motion signal. A data interpolator receives the first signal component from the first separator and outputs the first signal component, which is interpolated to obtain an original data bandwidth. A second separator receives the input digital video signal and the first signal component from the data interpolator, and separates and outputs the second signal component.
