摘要： In a proportional solenoid valve, a cylindrical valve seat member includes an input/output-side passage provided between an input port and a drain port and between an output port and the drain port, a seat portion provided in an end portion of the input/output-side passage, and a drain-side passage provided between the seat portion and the drain port. The drain-side passage is formed by exhaust passage holes whose number is an even number equal to four or more and which are arranged at regular intervals in the circumferential direction of the valve seat member.

摘要： A field-effect transistor-type semiconductor sensor is provided which comprises first and second semiconductor substrates bonded strongly to each other interposing a silicon oxide film therebetween by the use of a direct-bonding technique. The first semiconductor substrate is formed into an island-shape, and incorporates a source region, a drain region and a gate region. The island-shaped substrate constitutes an ion-sensitive portion, and is immersed in a solution when in use. The second semiconductor substrate has openings in which source and drain electrodes are formed.

摘要： In a semiconductor sensor, the surfaces of first and second semiconductor substractes of a first conductivity type are made into flat surfaces by polishing the surfaces and are contacted each other so that the both substrates are bonded together. Source and claim regions are formed by diffusing an impurity of second conductivity type. The source and claim regions are separated through a through hole formed in the second substrate and are extended along the surface of the second substrate. An insulative layer is formed on the opposite surface of the second substrate and an inner surface of the through hole.

摘要： A variable delivery type fuel supply apparatus capable of suppressing variation of fuel pressure within a delivery pipe and hence variation of fuel quantity injected through fuel injection valves and simplifying a control method therefor. The apparatus includes an oil relief passage (6) provided between the suction port of a fuel pump (4) and a pressurizing chamber (4e) across a suction valve (4a) of the fuel pump (4), an electromagnetic valve (7) disposed in the oil relief passage (6) and opened for a predetermined time during a discharge stroke of the fuel pump (4) for thereby controlling a discharge quantity of the fuel pump (4), and a control unit (108) for controlling the timing at which the electromagnetic valve (7) is opened. The control unit (108) is so designed as to control open/close operations of the electromagnetic valve (7) such that a time point for starting electrical energization of the electromagnetic valve (7) is fixedly set at a predetermined time point relative to the suction/discharge stroke of the fuel pump (4) while allowing the time point for terminating the electrical energization to be variable, to thereby control the discharge quantity of the fuel pump (4).
