摘要： Provided are methods, apparatus and computer programs for monitoring operational data relating to a sequence of data processing operations in a network of data processing units. In response to specified boundaries for data gathering, operational data is selectively gathered into discrete data partitions for a desired time period, a desired set of processing nodes, and/or a desired set of process executions. A set of event listeners invoke operations of a data gatherer in response to events within a processing sequence and the data gatherer allocates operational data to different ones of a set of discrete logical data containers in response to notifications from the event listeners. The data collection is responsive to system events such as a collection interval expiry to end data collection for a first partition and start data collection for a second partition.

摘要： State information in a publish and subscribe system is retained. A state publication is received from a publisher for a topic with one or more delta publications. The state publication and the one or more delta publications are used to keep track of a current state associated with the topic. It is determined that a subscriber has connected to a topic and information pertaining to the current state is sent to the subscriber. This equates to either a list comprising the state publication and subsequent delta publications or a single publication. Such a single publication is maintained by the system and comprises a state publication updated by one or more subsequent delta publications.

摘要： In one of many possible embodiments, a light therapy apparatus is provided for delivering ocular light to a subject to treat a disorder that is responsive to ocular light therapy. The apparatus comprises a power supply, a hand-held light output device having light sources powered by the power supply, and a programmable data processor coupled to the power supply and the light output device. The programmable data processor is configured to control light emissions from the hand-held light output device. In some embodiments, the plurality of light sources may provide a light output having at least forty percent blue light with a wavelength range of approximately 435 nm to 500 nm. In some embodiments, the programmable data processor is configured to control light emissions in accordance with user-defined light therapy programs.

摘要： A connection apparatus includes a frame-side member securable to a steel structural frame, a brace-side member securable to a seismic brace, and a coupling element that secures frame-side and brace-side members to each other. By way of example, the connection element may provide a hinge-type connection, which substantially isolates a seismic brace from nonaxial loads. As another example, the connection element may be a ball-and-socket type connection, which substantially isolates a seismic brace from nonaxial loads and absorbs any shear and moment applied thereto when the seismic brace drifts out of an intended plane of the steel structural frame. The connection element may also include a collar to stabilize the brace-side member and prevent shears and moments from causing the same to buckle in an unintended direction. Methods of installing and using the connection apparatus are also disclosed.
