摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for content delivery networking. There is provided a method of managing a content delivery network to transfer media content to a user, including: receiving a network configuration request and network configuration information, from a service provider that provides the content; receiving resource information including information about available resources required for configuring the network; and configuring a content delivery overlay network, based on the resource information and the network configuration information. Therefore, by configuring a content delivery overlay network for each provider, service and content providers having no unique content delivery method of their own can provide multimedia services based on applications for smart TV and web TV to a plurality of users.

摘要： An optical burst switching (OBS) system and a method using duplicate optical burst transmission is provided. In accordance with the present invention, optical bursts do not have the same priority when the duplicate optical bursts are transmitted in an OBS network so that a burst loss rate due to blocking can be reduced. Optical bursts do not have the same priority when the duplicate optical bursts are transmitted in an OBS network, so that a burst loss rate due to the blocking can be reduced. After an optical burst control packet is transmitted on a signal channel using a unidirectional reservation manner in the OBS, a problem such as optical burst loss due to the blocking can be prevented even when the optical burst is transmitted on a data channel after an offset time is elapsed without any response messages.

摘要： The present invention relates to a mobile multicast system and a method thereof, and more particularly to a network-based mobility multicast system and a method thereof. The system according to one embodiment of the present invention is the mobile multicast system for supporting the network-based mobility comprising: access points which communicate with mobile terminals within an access network through a wireless channel, obtains layer 2 addresses of the terminals, and provides the obtained layer 2 addresses of the terminals; management parts which control a handover of each terminal included in the access points, transmit multicast packets to be provided to the terminals, and are provided according to the access points; a router which receives the multicast data through the network, and transmits the multicast packets to the terminals for receiving the multicast data; and a mobile control server which obtains position information of the terminals from the management parts, transmits a query message for determining the reception of the multicast data to each of the management parts so as to confirm whether the terminals join the multicast when receiving the query message from the router, and controls setting of a tunnel between the router and the management part for transmitting a membership report message when receiving the membership report message for joining the multicast.
