摘要： A fuel filter 10, constructing a supply unit 8, comprises a filter case 11 having an electric conductivity and a filter element 14. The filter case 11 is formed with an inside wall portion 11A and an outside wall portion 11B into a U shape in lateral cross section, so as to enlarge a contact area contacting with fuel in a fuel tank. The fuel discharged from the fuel pump 9 flows into a fluid chamber 15 of the fuel filter 10, and then be supplied from a fuel supply conduit 20 through a fuel flow passageway 12A to the outside. At this time, static electricity charged in the filter case 11 is discharged through its outer peripheral surface into the surrounding fuel having a slight electric conductivity.

摘要： A negative pressure cut valve disposed between a feed pipe and a forward pipe includes a main body having a first outer wall and a second outer wall, an urging spring provided on the first outer wall, a diaphragm provided on the main body and actuated by the relative action of the force of the urging spring and the inner pressure on the feed pipe side to produce an opening action in the state in which the inner pressure on the feed pipe side rises is above the inner pressure on the forward pipe side and a closing action in the other pressure state, and a valve provided on the main body and actuated to produce an opening action in the state in which the inner pressure on the feed pipe side falls below the inner pressure on the forward pipe side and a closing action in the other pressure state. The first outer wall has a first atmospheric vent formed therein. The second outer wall is disposed around the periphery of the first atmospheric vent and enabled jointly with the first outer wall to define an empty space for precluding intrusion of extraneous substances. The empty space has a capacity at least above an operating capacity of the diaphragm. The second outer wall has a second atmospheric vent formed therein and endowed with a function of releasing pressure and a function of discharging water.

摘要： A noise suppressing device attachable to a wall within a liquid container can lessen and absorb noise generated by a liquid as it moves within the container. The device has a main plate body with an upper plate surface and a lower plate surface, through holes extending through the upper and lower plate surfaces for permitting flow of the liquid from one side of the main plate body to the other side of the main plate body, and projections formed on the main plate body. Each projection has a base and a tip, and is tapered from the base to the tip. The noise suppressing device also has an attachment device for attaching the main plate body to the container wall. The device is easy to manufacture and install, and effectively suppresses liquid noise.

摘要： A fuel tank includes a vent cutout valve having a first chamber connected to a vent tube, a second chamber communicating with a canister and a third chamber connected to an evaporation tube. The first and second chambers are defined by a first partition wall with a first communication bore and the second and third chambers are defined by a second partition wall with a second communication bore. A main body of the vent cutout valve is disposed within the second chamber to open the first communication bore when a shutter presses the main body of the vent cutout valve, and is provided with a check valve to close the second communication bore which is biased toward the second partition wall by a resilient member interposed between the check valve and the valve main body of the vent cutout valve.
