    摘要: A work machine handle device having a foldable handle is disclosed. As the handle is to be changed from a folded-up state to a use state, the handle is turned about a frame as a turning fulcrum. An actuating protuberance provided integrally to a turning member of a clamp body is pushed by a handle engaging/disengaging part provided to a front end of the handle, and the turning member is caused to turn. The handle engaging/disengaging part is held from either side and automatically restrained by a clamp mechanism. When the handle is changed from the use state to the folded-up state, a restraining mechanism is operated to release the engagement between the restraining mechanism and a distal end of the turning member. The turning member is turned by a return force of a spring provided to the clamp body, the handle engaging/disengaging part ceases to be restrained, and the handle can be folded up.

A duct member is integrally attached to the engine and the generator to define a continuous cooling-air passage between the duct member and outer peripheral surfaces of the engine and the generator. A cooling fan is disposed on an inlet side of the cooling-air passage. A silencing plate is integrally attached to the duct member and faces an inlet of the cooling-air passage with a ventilation gap defined therebetween. The silencing plate has an area opposing the inlet that is larger than an opening area of the inlet.

    摘要: An engine-driven work machine is provided in which an engine/work machine unit (5) and an exhaust muffler (23) are housed in a box (30), the box (30) is provided with a cooling air passage (44) that passes the area around the engine/work machine unit (5) and the exhaust muffler (23), and a cooling fan (15) driven by the engine (2) is disposed in the cooling air passage (44), wherein the box (30) is provided with blocking means (51) for blocking the cooling air passage (44) between the engine (2) and the exhaust muffler (23) when running of the engine (2) is stopped. The heat of the high temperature exhaust muffler can thus be prevented from affecting the engine/work machine unit even when running of the engine is stopped, while maintaining the soundproofing of the box housing the unit, etc.

    摘要: A duct member is disposed around outer peripheries of an engine and an engine-driven generator to define a continuous cooling-air passage between the duct member and the outer peripheries. A cooling fan is disposed in the cooling-air passage to generate a flow of cooling air from one end of the cooling-air passage to the other end during operation of the engine. An intake box is connected to one end of the cooling-air passage and has an air-intake port. A muffler box is connected to the other end of the cooling-air passage, has an air-discharge port, and accommodates an exhaust muffler of the engine. A sound-insulating housing is connected between the intake box and the muffler box to surround the duct member in order to insulate sound emitted from the duct member.

    摘要: Reduce noises emitted from inlet and outlet of cooling air of a soundproof enclosed type generator. An inlet 20 and an outlet 26 of the cooling air are provided to the front and rear of a chassis 2, respectively. An air supply duct 8 is detachably mounted to the inlet 20, and an exhaust duct 9 is detachably mounted to the outlet 26. An air taking-in opening 8a facing downward is provided to the air supply duct 8 which guides the air towards horizontally opened inlet 20. The exhaust duct 9 is equipped with wall surface and a straightening vane 27 at a position opposed to the cooling air discharged from the outlet 26 to change the cooling air flow in complicated fashion to discharge it outside. Sound-absorption materials are pasted to the interior surface of the air supply duct 8 and the exhaust duct 9.

This enables mist contained in cooling air taken into the box to be separated and removed effectively before the cooling air reaches the surroundings of the engine/generator unit.
