摘要: An engine-driven work machine is provided in which an engine/work machine unit (5) is housed in a box (30) and a cooling fan (15) for generating a flow of cooling air from an air inlet (39) to an air outlet (40) via the surroundings of the engine/work machine unit (5) is disposed within the box (30), wherein a gas/liquid separation chamber (32) for restricting the flow of cooling air is provided between the air inlet (39) and the engine/work machine unit (5), and the gas/liquid separation chamber (32) is provided with a first wall face (32a1) for changing upward flow of cooling air into a lateral direction after it has collided with the first wall face (32a1) and a second wall face (32a2) for changing the lateral direction of flow into an obliquely downward direction. This enables mist contained in cooling air taken into the box to be separated and removed effectively before the cooling air reaches the surroundings of the engine/generator unit.

摘要: An engine generator accommodating an engine and a generator inside a case. A first stationary handle that extends in the width direction is mounted in the rear section of the case. A second stationary handle is mounted on the upper front part of the case. A draw handle is provided so as to swing in the vertical direction in relation to the second stationary handle. The second stationary handle is manually grasped and the engine generator is moved. The first and second stationary handles are grasped and the engine generator is lifted. The draw handle is pulled to move the engine generator.

摘要: A power-assisted wheelbarrow applies an assisting function using an electric motor. Handle shafts connecting to the rear end portions of two handles are covered with grips which are allowed to move axially relative to the handle shafts. More than one steel balls are fitted between the handle shafts and the grips. At the sides of the grips or the handles, pushing force detecting sensors are disposed for detecting the axial movements of the grips relative to the handle shafts in accordance with the pushing forces applied to the grips. The operation of the electric motor is controlled on the basis of the detected values of the two pushing force detecting sensors. As a result, the assisting force by the electric motor can be effectively applied to the wheel of a manual-push type single-wheeled carrier so that manual labor can be reduced while minimizing the consumption of a battery.

摘要: Engine cooling structure directs cooling air, introduced into a case by operation of a fan, to a cylinder block of an engine and then discharges the cooling air out of the case through an outlet port along meandering flow passages. Case cooling structure directs cooling along the inner surface of the case. Further cooling flow passage directs the air to vertically-oriented heat radiating fins so that the cooling air flows upward along the fins and then is discharged through the outlet port. Metal cooling-fan cover is supported by the lower cover via mounting members, and a resin-made cover guide is fastened to the engine together with supporting portions and interposed between the fan cover and the engine.
