    摘要: A scroll compressor having a simple structure is disclosed, which effectively decreases the thrust load imposed on the revolving scroll without degrading the compression efficiency. The scroll compressor includes a casing; a fixed scroll provided in the housing and comprising an end plate and a spiral protrusion built on one face of the end plate; and a revolving scroll provided in the casing and comprising an end plate and a spiral protrusion built on one face of the end plate, wherein the spiral protrusions of each scroll are engaged with each other so as to form a spiral compression chamber. In the above structure, an introduced working gas is compressed in the compression chamber and then discharged according to the revolution of the revolving scroll; a thrust member for thrust-supporting the end plate of the revolving scroll is provided at the back-face side of the end plate of the revolving scroll; a pressure pocket is formed in a face of one of the thrust member and the end plate of the revolving scroll, wherein the face faces the other of the thrust member and the end plate of the revolving scroll; and a high-pressure introduction hole for introducing a high-pressure fluid into the pressure pocket is provided at one of the thrust member side and the revolving scroll side.

    摘要: The present invention has as an object providing a scroll compressor that transmits rotation of the eccentric axle side end plate of the orbiting scroll to the involute wrap side end plate with good efficiency, and sufficiently presses the involute wrap side end plate continuously against the fixed scroll without causing friction with the seal member; in order to attain this object, the present invention provides a scroll compressor providing a fixed scroll comprising an end plate and an involute wrap provided on one face of the end plate, and an orbiting scroll comprising and end plate, an engagement part provided on one face of the end plate and accommodating an eccentric axle therein, and an involute wrap provided on the other face of the end plate and forming a plurality of compression chambers by the combination with the involute wrap of the fixed scroll, wherein the end plate of the orbiting scroll is divided along the axial direction thereof into an involute wrap side end plate providing an involute wrap and an eccentric axle side end plate providing the engagement part, and furthermore, wherein a transmission mechanism is provided that permits movement of this involute wrap side end plate in the axial direction with respect to the eccentric axle side end plate but prevents movement in the radial or peripheral directions, and transmits the orbital movement of the eccentric axle side end plate to the involute wrap side end plate.

Furthermore, in the same scroll compressor, tip seals are provided respectively in two grooves, and join paths are provided respectively between a high-pressure compression chamber, which is formed with the bottom faces as one section, and the two grooves; the pressure inside the high-pressure compression chamber is used as a pressing force for the tip seals.

    摘要: A scroll compressor for reducing fluid leakage at step portions of scroll members and improving the compression efficiency is disclosed. The reduction of leakage and a high compression efficiency can be realized without increasing the precision in the manufacture of the members. Between the engaged scroll members, a high-pressure space is formed close to the spiral center, and among points at which the spiral walls contact with each other immediately before the innermost closed space communicates with the high-pressure space, the innermost point is defined as a base point. The angular distance from the base point to the outer end of the spiral, measured along the inner-peripheral face of the spiral wall, is approximately 4&pgr; rad. The angular distance from the base point to the step portion of each end plate, measured along the inner-peripheral face of the spiral wall, is equal to or more than approximately 3&pgr; rad.

A part of the highly compressed lubricating agent which is supplied the sealing chamber can be leaked to the low pressure chamber via the partition means during the operation of said compressor.

Moreover, a plate which is freely movable in an orbit axis direction of the orbiting scroll is arranged, and a pressing device which presses the plate is provided. In addition, a shape of connecting wall faces which connect adjacent parts on one side face of the end plates, is determined by an envelope drawn by an orbit locus of a connecting rim which connects adjacent parts of the upper rims. Furthermore, there is provided a communication passage which communicates between two compression chambers which are developed by contact of the connecting rim and the connecting wall face.
