    摘要: In a scroll compressor furnished with a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll, and provided with steps on end plates of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, formed such that the height thereof is high at a central side and low at an outer peripheral end side in a spiral direction of the walls, and with upper rims of the walls formed in a stepped shape corresponding to the steps, gaps are respectively provided between the end plates and upper rims of the walls, and a height of the gaps at room temperature is formed higher than a height under operating conditions. Moreover, the steps are provided at positions which exceeds a pitch angle of &pgr; (rad) along the spiral direction from the outer peripheral end. Furthermore, a concavity is formed in the end plate of the fixed scroll, and a discharge valve is provided in the concavity. Moreover, a plate which is freely movable in an orbit axis direction of the orbiting scroll is arranged, and a pressing device which presses the plate is provided. In addition, a shape of connecting wall faces which connect adjacent parts on one side face of the end plates, is determined by an envelope drawn by an orbit locus of a connecting rim which connects adjacent parts of the upper rims. Furthermore, there is provided a communication passage which communicates between two compression chambers which are developed by contact of the connecting rim and the connecting wall face.

    摘要: A scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll having a spiral-shaped wall body, and a swiveling scroll which has a spiral-shaped wall body and revolves while linking together the two wall bodies; the wall bodies have steps, and side faces of two end plates have high and low bottom faces in correspondence with the steps; a tip seal is provided along a join edge which connects top edges on different sides of each step, and a mechanism is provided therebetween to prevent the tip seals from becoming removed from the join edges. Furthermore, in the same scroll compressor, tip seals are provided respectively in two grooves, and join paths are provided respectively between a high-pressure compression chamber, which is formed with the bottom faces as one section, and the two grooves; the pressure inside the high-pressure compression chamber is used as a pressing force for the tip seals.

    摘要: A scroll compressor including a fixed scroll having a spiral-shaped wall body, and a swiveling scroll which has a spiral-shaped wall body and revolves while linking together the two wall bodies. The wall bodies have steps, and side faces of two end plates have high and low bottom faces in correspondence with the steps. A tip seal is provided along a join edge which connects top edges on different sides of each step, and a mechanism is provided therebetween to prevent the tip seals from becoming removed from the join edges. Furthermore, in the same scroll compressor, tip seals are provided respectively in two grooves, and join paths are provided respectively between a high-pressure compression chamber, which is formed with the bottom faces as one section, and the two grooves. The pressure inside the high-pressure compression chamber is used as a pressing force for the tip seals.

    摘要: A scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll member and a revolving scroll member that engage with each other with their centrifugal walls, wherein the revolving scroll member is supported to revolve with respect to the fixed scroll member, but to avoid self-rotation thereof. The spiral-starting portion of the centrifugal wall comprises non-stepped portions formed along curves of &bgr;1-&bgr;1′ and &bgr;2-&bgr;2′ respectively, and a stepped portion formed along a curve &bgr;1′-&bgr;2′ that provides a thickness increase area encompassed by its upper-side curved surface and its lower-side curved surface. The discharge port is located on the end board of the fixed scroll member to partly overlap with the thickness increase area by partly hollowing the lower side of the stepped portion with the prescribed height.

    摘要: A scroll fluid machine has a stationary scroll having a first end plate and a first spiral wrap projecting from one side of the first end plate. The first spiral wrap has a tip end. A swivel scroll has a second end plate and a second spiral wrap that projects from the one side of the second end plate. The second spiral wrap has a second end tip, and the first and second spiral wraps are engaged with each other. A first thin steel plate is provided on one side of the end plate between the first end plate and the second tip end. A first thin steel plate has a surface side that faces the second tip end. Further, a second thin steel plate is on one side of the second end plate between the second end plate and the first tip end. The second thin steel plate has a surface side that faces the first tip end. Both of the first and second thin steel plates are provided with conformable layers on the surfaces facing the tip ends. The conformable layers comprise a material that is softer than the first and second tip ends so that during operation a gap between the center portion of the tip ends and the opposite scroll end plate does not become too large. A leakage passage is provided in at least one of the thin plates so as to interconnect a central compression chamber formed by the spiral wraps and the outer circumferential chambers.

    摘要: A refrigerant compressor is provided that can be assembled easily and can quickly discharge lubricating oil that leaks from contact sliding parts of its mechanical seal so as to prevent the oil from turning into sludge around the stationary ring. In a refrigerant compressor in which a mechanical seal which shaft seals the inner side and the outer side of a housing is installed at a portion of the housing through which a rotating shaft penetrates, a mechanical seal comprises a stationary ring securely fastened to the inner circumferential surface of a boss portion, a rotary ring securely fastened to the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft to the inside of the stationary ring so as to face the stationary ring, whereby sliding contact is formed between sides of the stationary ring and the rotary ring. The inner circumferential surface of the boss portion to the outside of the stationary ring is provided with an inclined portion over the entire circumference or at least the gravitationally lower portion of the inner circumferential surface, which enlarges from the stationary ring side toward an oil discharge hole to the outside of the stationary ring.
