摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a setting screen displaying portion to display a setting screen on a display portion, an input screen displaying portion to display an input screen including input keys on the display portion, a position detecting portion to detect a position designated by a user on a display surface of the display portion, an item selecting portion to select one of a plurality of setting items on the setting screen, a setting value accepting portion to accept a value determined by the input key designated by the user as a setting value for the setting item being selected, and a designation accepting portion, provided independently of the position detecting portion, to accept a user's designation. The input screen displaying portion displays the input screen on the display portion when the designation accepting portion accepts a first designation in the state where the setting screen is being displayed.

摘要： An image forming system includes an input unit for input of setting information, an image forming unit, a conveying unit, a control unit, and a jam detecting unit, wherein a set of a plurality of different kinds of special sheets disposed in a predetermined order is used. When occurrence of a jam is detected by the jam detecting unit, the control unit recognizes whether a special sheet having been fed is present in the image forming system, and if it is recognized that a special sheet is present in the image forming system, the control unit controls the conveying unit, after the jam being released, to eject a special sheet or sheets as unnecessary up to one that is disposed preceding a special sheet that is of the same kind as a most front one that was present in the image forming system at the time of the occurrence of the jam.

摘要： This invention is directed to an image printing apparatus which prints an original image as image information on a recording sheet and performs postprocessing on the recording sheet after printing operation. According to the image printing apparatus of the invention, image printing conditions include conditions concerning postprocessing to be executed by a punch unit and postprocessing device and selection information of a main tray or sub-tray. The image printing conditions are stored after being set as individual image printing conditions for each image information and linked to the image information. When image printing conditions are to be read out by a page readout unit, such individual image printing conditions are read out together with image information, printing and postprocessing are executed for each image information, i.e., each original image.
