Abstract:
In order to ensure high levels of insulation performance, and low cost, and have an excellent external appearance, as a ceramic constituting an insulating coating 6 being a ceramic coating layer, one with alumina as its main component, and in which the content of titanium oxide is limited to 0.01 to 0.2 percent by weight is used. Moreover, a particle size of ceramic forming the coating layer is 10 to 50 μm, and average particle size is 15 to 25 μm. By limiting the content of titanium oxide, the insulating coating 6 can be made thin, and by limiting the particle size the film thickness accuracy can be improved, thus simplifying finishing. Moreover, by mixing of titanium oxide, deterioration of the external appearance after sealing can be prevented. As a result, the above problem is solved.
Abstract:
The radii of curvature RD, RS and RL along a diagonal axis, a short side and a long side of an outer surface of a useful portion of a panel whose inner surface is provided with a phosphor screen satisfy RD≧10 m, RS>RD, and RL>RD. This makes it possible to provide a color picture tube that has an excellent visibility and is not susceptible to the deterioration in color purity due to doming, while including a shadow mask with excellent formability and strength.

Abstract:
A method of producing rolling elements for a rolling bearing comprises mixing to process rounded elements made of steel balls and spherical rolling elements having outer diameter portion portion becoming a rolling contact face. The rolling contact face has curvatures in an axial direction and a radial direction normal to the axial direction, and has at least one plane. The thus mixed elements are placed and processed in a space between two processing boards opposing each other via the determined space. Thereby, the surfaces of the rounded balls and the rolling elements are processed to be rounded.
Abstract:
A cage is made of a low carbon steel and is for use in a rolling bearing which includes an outer ring, an inner ring and a plurality of rolling elements disposed rotationally between the outer ring and the inner ring. The cage includes a plurality of pockets for retaining the rolling elements in an equi-distribution in the rotating direction of the rolling elements. The low carbon steel is a steel containing from 0.02 to 0.10% by weight of C and from 0.10 to 0.45% by weight of Mn and is subjected to plastic working. The hardness for the pocket surface at least at a portion in contact with the rolling element is Hv 190 to 270, and the hardness for the core portion in the cage section is Hv 110 to 170.
Abstract:
A color cathode ray tube has a substantially rectangular shadow mask in which a plurality of slit type aperture arrays are aligned in the direction of the major axis of an effective region defined by a curved surface opposing a phosphor screen formed on the inner surface, defined by a concave curved surface, of the effective region of a panel. Each slit type aperture array is obtained by arranging a plurality of slit type apertures in an array in the direction of the minor axis of the effective region of the shadow mask. In this color cathode ray tube, the difference between the array interval of the slit type aperture arrays at a peripheral portion on the long side of the shadow mask and the array interval of the slit type aperture arrays on the major axis is a maximum value within a distance range of 0.4 h to 0.9 h (h is 1/2 the length of the effective region of the shadow mask in the direction of the major axis) from the minor axis, and the array interval of the slit type aperture arrays at the end of the major axis is larger than that of the slit type aperture arrays at a corner. Thus, local doming of the shadow mask can be suppressed.
Abstract:
An improved heat-insulating support device is disclosed which is capable of supporting a coolant tank to a vacuum vessel in a manner such that when the vacuum tank is subjected to a great external force after the coolant tank has been cooled down to a cryogenic temperature, the coolant tank and hence cryogenic equipment mounted thereon are held in place and prevented from being displaced beyond a prescribed allowable range, without impairing the intended heat-insulating capability thereof. The heat-insulating support device comprises a heat insulating support member disposed outside the coolant tank with one end connected with the coolant tank; a mounting rod having one end connected with the heat-insulating support member and its other end projected outwardly through the vacuum vessel; and a spring for resiliently mounting the other projected end portion of the mounting rod on the vacuum vessel, the spring having a non-linear spring characteristic including a small spring constant for mainly absorbing thermal contraction of the coolant tank and a large spring constant for mainly suppressing displacement of the coolant tank due to large external forces acting thereon after the thermal contraction of the coolant tank.
Abstract:
A cryogenic container having an inner tank for storing cryogen therein, an outer tank for housing the inner tank therein in a thermally insulating relationship, and a pipe connected between the outer and inner tanks for supporting the inner tank relative to the outer tank. The pipe has a heat conducting cross sectional area which is larger at the portion near the outer tank side than at the portion near the inner tank side, thereby reducing the heat conduction through the pipe.

The present invention provides a new method for distributing video information to a mobile phone based on push technology where a new function of a mobile phone is utilized sufficiently. In case that a user has registered that the user makes a request for a video information distribution service about a specific area to a user management sever in advance, when a mobile phone of the user exists in the specific area, video information is distributed from a video contents server to the mobile phone of the user based on push technology. Alternatively, when traffic of a radio channel connected to the mobile phone carried by the user is lower than a predetermined threshold, video information is distributed from a video contents server to the mobile phone based on push technology.
Abstract:
There is realized a self-aligning roller bearing with retainer that stabilizes the orientation of spherical rollers and prevents these spherical rollers from skewing, and which can be rotated at high speed, and furthermore which enables efficient lubricant feed into pockets 9. By rotating a turning tool 14 as it revolves, the surfaces on both sides in the circumferential direction of respective column sections are processed into concave curved surfaces that oppose a rolling surface of the respective spherical rollers across a pocket clearance into which lubricant oil can be fed. The length of the column sections 8c is less than the length in the axial direction of the spherical rollers, and greater than a half of the length, and an end portion of the side surface in the circumferential direction of the respective column sections 8c projects further in the circumferential direction than an intermediate portion thereof, and the spherical rollers are embraced in the pockets 9.
Abstract:
The radius of curvature of an outer surface of a useful portion of a panel is 10,000 mm or more, and a shadow mask is made of a material containing 95% or more of iron. Assuming that a distance (unit: mm) along an X-axis between a center of the panel and a peripheral edge of the useful portion is LH, and a total number of rows of apertures composed of electron beam passage apertures arranged on a straight line substantially parallel to a Y-axis is N, 0.9≦LH/N≦1.0 is satisfied. Furthermore, assuming that a pitch of adjacent rows of apertures is PHC at a center of a perforated region of the shadow mask, PHH at a major axis end of the perforated region, and PHM at a point away from the center of the perforated region by 2/3 of a distance MH between the center of the perforated region and the major axis end along the X-axis, PHM/PHC≦1.2 and PHH/PHC≦1.4 are satisfied. Because of this, a color picture tube can be provided, which has satisfactory visibility, has less degradation in color purity due to doming while having a shadow mask made of an inexpensive material with satisfactory formability, and is excellent in uniformity of brightness.
