    摘要: A bearing assembly for a shaft comprises an outer shell including first and second radial walls axially spaced apart from each other and joined by a circumferential wall. A sealing element is disposed in the outer shell and includes a body portion in sealing engagement with the first radial wall or the circumferential wall of the outer shell. The sealing element includes a lip portion protruding radially inward from the body portion. The lip portion is arranged to sealingly engage the shaft. A bearing is press fitted in the outer shell between the sealing element and the second radial wall of the outer shell.

    摘要: A bearing assembly comprises an outer ring and an inner ring radially inward of the outer ring and cooperating therewith to form a roller volume. The inner ring has opposed faces including slots extending axially and circumferentially spaced. The slots extends axially to openings into the opposed axial faces and communicate with partial circumferential slots in the inner circumferential surface and in fluid communication with the roller volume through passages in the inner ring. A first plurality of the axial slots has a radial depth increasing from a first of the axial faces to the respective partial circumferential slot. A second plurality of the axial slots has a radial depth increasing from the second of the axial faces to the respective partial circumferential slot. Bearing elements are in the roller volume rollingly disposed against the outer ring and the inner ring.

    摘要: A low clearance, high load capacity roller bearing that includes a cylindrical outer race with a set of non-helical grooves formed on its inside surface that mesh with teeth formed on the outside surface of a plurality of rotating rollers longitudinally and axially aligned inside the outer race. Located inside the rollers are two cylindrical inner race pieces each with non-helical outer grooves configured to mesh with the teeth on the rollers. The rollers are longitudinally aligned and evenly spaced apart inside the outer race and outside the inner race assembly by two retainer plates. The two inner race pieces are separated by a uniform circular gap in which a circular shim is disposed. Different lengths of inner race pieces may be used to create different gap widths needed to reduce the clearance or to pre-load the bearing. Shims with different widths slightly larger or smaller than the gap are placed in the gap.
