摘要: A cage is made of a low carbon steel and is for use in a rolling bearing which includes an outer ring, an inner ring and a plurality of rolling elements disposed rotationally between the outer ring and the inner ring. The cage includes a plurality of pockets for retaining the rolling elements in an equi-distribution in the rotating direction of the rolling elements. The low carbon steel is a steel containing from 0.02 to 0.10% by weight of C and from 0.10 to 0.45% by weight of Mn and is subjected to plastic working. The hardness for the pocket surface at least at a portion in contact with the rolling element is Hv 190 to 270, and the hardness for the core portion in the cage section is Hv 110 to 170.

摘要: In a steel cage for rolling bearing which is nitrided to form a compound layer on the surface thereof, when the thickness of a dense layer in the compound layer 1 is predetermined to a range of from 3 &mgr;m to 20 &mgr;m, the abrasion can be inhibited, improving the abrasion resistance. Further, when a porous layer which acts as a lubricant reservoir is predetermined to a range of from 2 &mgr;m to 25 &mgr;m, the exhaustion of lubricant can be inhibited, improving the seizing resistance.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a magnetoresistive element comprises a storage layer having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy with respect to a film plane and having a variable direction of magnetization, a reference layer having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy with respect to the film plane and having an invariable direction of magnetization, a tunnel barrier layer formed between the storage layer and the reference layer and containing O, and an underlayer formed on a side of the storage layer opposite to the tunnel barrier layer. The reference layer comprises a first reference layer formed on the tunnel barrier layer side and a second reference layer formed opposite the tunnel barrier layer. The second reference layer has a higher standard electrode potential than the underlayer.

摘要: A slewing-type working machine includes: a hydraulic motor having first and second ports and driving an upper slewing body to slew it; a hydraulic pump; a slewing operating device including an operating member; a control valve controlling the hydraulic motor based on an operation signal of the slewing operating device; first and second pipe-lines connecting the first and second ports of the hydraulic motor to the control valve; communication switching devices switchable between communication and cutoff between both pipe-lines and a tank; a slewing electric motor; an electric storage device; and a controller. During a slewing operation, the controller brings the communication switching devices into a communicated state and performs regenerative control by issuing a command on a regeneration amount corresponding to a reduction in back pressure by the communication switching devices in the communicated state to the slewing electric motor.
