摘要： Casing structure for a mixer apparatus includes a box-shaped casing that comprises an upper surface section, a bottom surface section and a side surface section. The upper surface section, having a generally obtuse-angled “V” shape, includes: a flat operation panel having operating members; a boundary section located adjacent to the rear end edge of the operation panel; and a flat, inclined display panel extending rearwardly and upwardly from the boundary section at a greater inclination angle than the operation panel. Within the casing, a partition member is provided on the bottom surface section to extend vertically upward to the boundary section, and it has openings to permit communication between front and rear accommodating sections. The partition member supports the boundary section from below to reinforce the upper surface section.

Front and rear pivot shafts are provided on inner side surfaces of side plates of the main body so as to extend in the left-right direction of the main body. Front and rear panels are openable and closable relative to the main body by being pivoted about the pivot shafts, with their engagement recesses in engagement with the pivot shafts. The front and rear panels cover the main body when they are in closed states, and open the interior of the main body when they are in open states. The front panel is opened by being pivoted rearward, whereas the rear panel is opened by being pivoted forward.

The game apparatus calculates areas of black eye regions of a left eye and a right eye by utilizing the plurality of feature points. Then, the game apparatus detects whether or not any one of the left eye and the right eye is closed on the basis of the calculated areas. The game apparatus executes game processing according to the detection result.

摘要： Electronic keyboard instrument is provided with a leg section supporting thereon a keyboard in such a manner that the keyboard is located at a height falling within a range from 350 mm to 500 mm. Namely, the leg section supports thereon the keyboard at a suitable height that is substantially equal to an average height of ordinary low tables designed on the assumption that they are generally used when users are in a comfortable position. Namely, the “height falling within a range from 350 mm to 500 mm” is derived from survey results of heights of low tables. Thus, when the user sits in front of the keyboard instrument, the user can take a comfortable position as when sitting in front of a low table, and, even in such a comfortable position, the keyboard is located at a right height for playing. With such arrangements, the user is allowed, at any desired time, to readily enjoy playing the instrument in a natural playing posture.

Additionally this invention allows numerically represented character information stored in internal devices of a programmable controller to be displayed in the form of characters by a simple peripheral device. This display operates under the control of a sequence program and converts stored internal information into character information which indicates display shapes.

摘要： A power converter including a snubber circuit which is smaller and regenerates more energy than a conventional snubber circuit. A plurality of self-quenching semiconductor switching elements are connected in series across a power supply. A capacitive element is connected to the switching elements, and is charged to more than the voltage of the power supply by a snubber action due to operation of any of the switching elements. The charge stored in the capacitive element is then regenerated to the power supply. The capacitance of the capacitive element can be almost as small as a minimum required capacitance, and can be as small as one-tenth of the capacitance required in a conventional snubber circuit, thereby providing a power converter which is smaller and has a smaller snubber loss than a conventional power converter.
