摘要: A biodegradable absorbent mat for absorbing and containing moisture including debris from pet feet, consisting of a bottom layer formed of an organic absorbent mesh composite, a top layer affixed and overlying said bottom layer, having an alternating combination of stitched paper ruffles and helically intertwined brush fibers. The organic mesh composite may be burlap or paper, treated with starch for rigidity, and then coated with a natural gum or latex to enhance friction grip and provide a moisture barrier. The configuration of the stitched paper ruffles, provide maximum exposure of the cut linear edges of the ruffles to a pet's feet. The cut linear edges wick away moisture increasing the rate of absorbency. The stitched paper ruffles provide increased capacity for absorbency and debris containment. The helically intertwined brush fibers primarily remove debris from pet feet, and also provide a secondary function of containment of debris.

摘要: An improved lineman plier for prepping high voltage power cable cut ends, comprising a first body pivotally connected to a second body, the first body having a handle on one end, an upper jaw on the other having at least one upper transverse gripping edge and an upper jaw tip having at least one tooth, the second body having a handle on one end, a lower jaw on the other having at least one lower transverse gripping edge, a lower jaw tip, and protrusion projecting from the lower jaw, the lower jaw tip having at least one cutter and blade protruding into a void defined between the upper and lower jaw, such that when a high voltage cable is secured within the void and squeezed between the upper lower jaw, the outer insulation jacket is cut by the blade when the handles are rotated about the cable axis.

摘要: Examples disclosed herein relate to curl control assembly for use in a printing device having an output for printed media. One such example includes an ejection flap assembly adjacent the output configured to controllably assume a first predetermined position designed to help control a first amount of curl of the printed media and a second predetermined position designed to help control a second amount of curl of the printed media. The example additionally includes a positioning assembly adjacent the ejection flap assembly configured to selectively position the ejection flap assembly in either the first predetermined position or the second predetermined position and an actuator coupled to the positioning assembly that has a latched state that helps prevent movement of the positioning assembly and an unlatched state that permits movement of the positioning assembly. An example of a curl control method for use in a printing device is additionally disclosed.

摘要: Persons with physical impairment often have difficulty maintaining independent living at their own home. Simple daily activities such as getting up and out of a low seat chair can prove problematic. The claimed invention provides a lift system and method of installing the same that the physically impaired person can adapt to and raise a particular piece of furniture with minimal physical effort. The adaptable system includes a pair of lift assemblies, each lift assembly having a first rail member and a second rail member that are slideably engaged on a first end, having a riser on each second end. At each riser location there is a flip out guide that provides a visible pointer to facilitate alignment with the furniture leg without having to bend over or lift the furniture. For increased stability an optional cross member can be fixated between the first and second rail members.

摘要: A tool includes a spool, and a clamping assembly. The clamping assembly can include clamping members that are moveable relative to each other to clamp onto a clamped member between the two clamping members. One or more gripping members can be attached to the spool to hold a wire that is wound onto the spool. A driving mechanism can be attached to the spool. The driving mechanism can be configured to rotate the spool and wind the wire onto the spool. A cable-ripping tool can be clamped onto a cable. A portion of a wire from the cable can be gripped with a gripping member of the tool. This gripping can include moving the gripping member relative to a spool of the cable-ripping tool. The spool can be rotated so that the wire rips through a jacket of the cable and winds onto the spool.
