    摘要: The invention relates to a method for wiring electrical components of an electrical switchgear arranged on a mounting plate, comprising:

    providing a design of a switchgear comprising at least location information and orientation information about a plurality of electrical components of the switchgear on a mounting plate and wiring information about a plurality of electrical wirings between every two of the electrical components;
    optically detecting an actual arrangement of the electrical components on the mounting plate and matching the location information and orientation information to the actual arrangement; and
    automatically wiring the electrical components in a wiring order and according to the wiring information and the matched location information and orientation information.

    摘要: A tool configured to cut a pin of a cable connector that may include a cutter portion and a gauge portion. The cutter portion may be configured to receive a pin of a cable connector to be cut. The gauge portion may be configured to include a receiving portion that is configured to receive a pin of a cable connector. The gauge portion may be configured to rotate relative to the cutter portion around an axis. The gauge portion may include a gauge thickness dimension that is configured to correspond to a predetermined cut length of the pin. The gauge portion also may be configured to permit the cutter portion to cut the pin received by the receiving portion to at least one predetermined length that is needed for an installation so as to provide uniform electrical performance of the connector, which may be a coaxial or hardline connector.

    摘要: A cutting fixture for incising a tap portion installed between a pair power cables. A fixture body is mounted atop a power press tool in contact with a linearly advancing ram of the tool. The fixture body terminates in a downwardly facing support surface. A pair of levers are pivotally mounted to the fixture body, each including a bottom end profile and a roller at an upper end which, in response to upward displacement of the ram, multi-directionally advances to displace against an underside of a linearly movable carriage supported upon the fixture body in proximity to the levers. A cutting blade is supported upon the carriage and, in response to elevation of the carriage, displaces upwardly in a force multiplying fashion to section the H-tap positioned between the carriage and the downwardly facing support surface in order to permit its removal while preserving the integrity of the cables.

    摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for securely clipping the tip of an electrical wire. The wire tip clipping tool may include an opening and closing mechanism, and a member coupled to the opening and closing mechanism. The member can include a top portion and a bottom portion moveably coupled such that an opening is formed between the top portion and bottom for receiving at least a portion of an electrical wire inserted into the opening. The top portion and bottom portion may move towards each other, with respect to movement of the opening and closing mechanism, to a closed position for clipping the received portion of the electrical wire, restricting movement of the electrical wire and preventing conductive contact with the received portion of the electrical wire.

    摘要: A cable stripper is provided which has an adjustable bushing which can be adjusted to accept a variety of differently size cables. The cable stripper is rotated around the cable to strip the insulation from a cable. The cable stripper can be attached to an existing tool to impact rotation of the cable stripper around the cable. The cable stripper includes a bushing having an axial passageway and a plurality of spaced slots which are in communication with the passageway, a plurality of cable retention blocks attached to the bushing, and a blade member mounted on the bushing, the blade member being seated within the passageway. The cable retention blocks are moveable relative to the bushing to pass through the slots and into the passageway to engage the cable mounted within the passageway. A retaining assembly is mounted on the bushing and fixes the position of the cable retention blocks relative to the bushing.

    摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to providing cable assemblies for cellular base stations having remote radio head units located atop a radio tower. Each installation requires near-custom cabling, as the electrical resistance of the conductors of the cable assembly varies based on the length of the cable assembly, and because different operators and local governments require different color-coding of the conductors which are coupled to the power trunk. Accordingly, a power distribution system is provided herein wherein conductors of a trunk cable may be coupled to power jumper conductors at transitions. The transitions are generally cylindrical and comprise channels into which splicing lugs are seated. The conductors may be electrically coupled together and secured via set screws. Manufacturing costs may be reduced, as common configurations of trunk cables may be manufactured in higher quantity and coupled to power jumper conductors according to local requirements.
