Abstract:
There is disclosed an image processing apparatus in which it is determined whether comment information exists inside a frame image entered from a photographic film, and in the event that the presence of the comment information is confirmed, a pixel value of the comment information is replaced by another pixel value.
Abstract:
There is provided an image processing apparatus in which a test operation of each image can be executed smoothly by effectively utilizing magnetic information or optical information, which is recorded on a recording medium. During test processing, when the number of frame images to be displayed on a test image 204 is less than 28, a display mode of magnetic information to be displayed correspondingly to the frame images is altered to the form of words and phrases. Further, when the number of frame images to be displayed on the test image 204 is 28 or more, the display mode of magnetic information to be displayed correspondingly to the frame images is altered to the form of abbreviation (FFy).
Abstract:
In a photographic printer including a print-exposing device having a light source and a light controlling filter, an image recorded onto a film is printed on a photosensitive material by irradiating, onto the photosensitive material, light emitted from the light source and transmitted through the light controlling filter and the film. The light transmitted through the light controlling filter and the film is incident upon a photometric device, and the photometric device photometrically measures the image recorded on the film. The quantity of light incident upon the photometric device is controlled by a control device so as to reduce the quantity of light to a quantity of light which is lower than a quantity of light when printing exposure is carried out, in a case in which printing exposure by said print-exposing device is suspended for a time longer than a predetermined time. In a state in which printing exposure is not performed for a time longer than the predetermined time, the quantity of light incident upon the photometric device is reduced to a level lower than that of the quantity of light during printing exposure. Therefore, deterioration of the photometric device due to sticking and the like is mitigated, and the life thereof can be extended. Further, labor for maintenance such as replacement and inspection of the photometric device is reduced.
Abstract:
When an image, which is an object of reading and which is recorded on a photographic film, is to be registered at a reading position of a film scanner by an operator, following processes are repeated: results of a CCD sensor picking-up the reading position and periphery thereof are fetched; a moving speed V of the photographic film is computed; if the moving speed V is greater than or equal to a reference value, results of pick-up are displayed on a CRT as a high-speed, monochromatic dynamic image; and if the moving speed is less than the reference value, the results of pick-up are displayed on the CRT as a highly-detailed, color dynamic image. In this way, a dynamic image display mode is automatically switched in accordance with changes in the moving speed v during a registration operation, and registration of the image can be carried out quickly and accurately.
Abstract:
A film transporting apparatus for transporting forwards and backwards a film with a plurality of images recorded thereon in a predetermined direction, whereby the position of each image is stored and placed in a predetermined position on the basis of the position of multiplicity of position differentiating marks provided on the film in the predetermined direction at regular pitches, the predetermined direction at regular pitches, including, a mark detecting device for detecting the marks on the film, an image detecting device for detecting the images on the film, a rear edge detecting device for detecting the rear edge of the film, and a control device for controlling the mark detecting device so as not to detect marks from the rear edge of the film to a reference portion on the film.
Abstract:
A measurement image is displayed on a display based on inputted image data, and the measurement image displayed on a display image surface is photographed by a digital camera, and further, lightness of a previously-set measurement point is measured. Data is prepared comprised of a deviation between measurement data and the inputted image data, and image data obtained by reading an original is corrected based on the data comprised of the deviation, and further, the corrected data is inputted to the display and an image is thereby displayed on the display.
Abstract:
The image reading method comprises the steps of scanning an original in a direction of arrangement of original images to read the original images by pre-scanning; setting up image processing conditions of the read images in a reverse order to a pre-scanning order; processing the read images based on the image processing conditions; displaying the processed images: subjecting the displayed images to image verification in the reverse order; and scanning to original in the reverse direction to the pre-scanning direction to read the original images by main scanning as a result of the image verification. The image reading method is capable of reading the original images recorded on a film or the like, wherein each step of pre-scanning, verification and main scanning is efficiently performed and, when a digital photoprinter or the like is utilized, prints of good quality are outputted constantly with a high productivity.
Abstract:
An operator can freely and easily designate a region, which the operator wishes to extract as an image to be outputted from an image, by designating the position and size of a region setting frame by using an enlargement/reduction handle. Accordingly, no carrier or mask is required for this purpose, and the number of parts required can be reduced. Operability at the time of cropping an image can also be improved greatly. Further, by operating rotation buttons and 90°-rotation keys, the operator can, with simple operations, rotate an image displayed as a test image and can freely and easily designate an image within the region setting frame, i.e., an image to be outputted.
Abstract:
A photographic printing device and film carrier. A negative film is inserted into the film carrier. When a leading end portion of the film is placed in a set state of being nipped by rollers, a conveyed amount count value is set to zero. While the film is conveyed, the count value is updated, and a position of an image recorded on the film is detected by detecting an edge of the image. A detected image is positioned at an exposure position, and print-exposure processing is carried out. A determination is made as to whether a film end flag is on by detecting a trailing end of the film. When the flag is not on, processing waits until a PASS key or a print designation key is turned on. When the trailing end of the film has not yet been detected and the PASS key is turned on, an image is positioned, and print-exposure continues. When either the trailing end of the film is detected or a print completion designation key is turned on, the film is conveyed in the reverse direction until the count value becomes zero, and returns to its set state.
