An exhaust muffler for improving the timbre of an exhaust sound in a low engine speed region and for increasing an engine output in a high engine speed region. In an exhaust device for an internal combustion engine for discharging an exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine through a multistage expansion type muffler having a plurality of expansion chambers for silencing the sound of the exhaust gas during the passage thereof, the multistage expansion type muffler includes a first tail pipe for communicating between a most downstream one of the expansion chambers and the outside of the muffler and a second tail pipe for communicating between an upstream one of the expansion chambers on the upstream side of the most downstream expansion chamber and the outside of the muffler.

A generator acquires, from an index information storage unit, a group identifier and commodity identifiers stored in association with the group identifier. The generator also acquires commodity information associated with the commodity identifiers acquired from the index information storage unit, from an all PLU information storage units. The generator generates group-specific PLU information which associates the commodity identifiers acquired from the index information storage unit with the commodity information associated with the commodity identifiers and that is acquired from the all PLU information storage unit. A transmitter sends the group-specific PLU information generated by the generator to terminals belonging to a group that is identified by the group identifier corresponding to the group-specific PLU information.

An information processing device configured to conserve power consumption of the battery. The device uses a recording medium with a magnetic recording unit. A power source supplies power to at least one assembly, which retrieves and/or records information on the recording medium. The power is supplied to retrieve and/or record information only when the respective assembly is in operation. The device can be a camera using film as the magnetic recording medium.

The film feed control apparatus performs frame feed operation in which a photographic film is fed in a specific direction when a given photographic frame of the photographic film is being set at a specific position, and the photographic film is stopped when a next photographic frame is set at the specific position. The film feed control apparatus is provided with a feed device that feeds the film, and a control device that controls the feed device in such a manner that, when an unfinished film, which includes exposed frames and unexposed frames, is loaded, stops the film if an unexposed frame is set at the specific position while the unfinished film is being fed in the specific direction, which is the same as the direction of film feed during the frame feed operation.
