    摘要: There is disclosed a process to produce fertilizer granules containing urea and ammonium sulfate with a high ammonium sulfate concentration of ≦60 wt. % in a fluidized bed granulator, which process comprises the steps of: a) a molten urea suspension consisting of ammonium sulfate having an average particle size of 30 to 300 &mgr;m and urea having a temperature range of 120 to 155° C. is produced, b) the molten urea suspension produced at the stage a) is then injected from below on the fine particles of urea/ammonium sulfate in a fluidized bed granulator by means of at least a nozzle, while the fluidized bed is loosened by a spouting air flow in the injection area, and subsequently, c) the fertilizer granules generated in the fluidized bed are separated and, if necessary, treated. Homogeneous urea/ammonium sulfate granules of an ammonium sulfate content between 30 and 60 wt. % can be produced this way without any problems, while the particle size of granules can be adjusted selectively and dust emissions by granulation can be reduced to a minimum.

    摘要: There is disclosed an improved, energy-saving granulation method, wherein use is made of a granulator (1) having a bottom floor (9) of a granulation section whose bottom is a perforated plate, an upper air feed pipe (23) for feeding air for fluidization to the bottom floor of the granulation section, a lower air feed pipe (2), air feed pipes (3, 4, 5) branched from the lower air feed pipe for jetting air into the granulation section, and jetting nozzles (6, 7, 8) provided at the centers of the air outlets for jetting a molten raw material; which involves the steps of jetting a molten raw material from the jetting nozzles to approximately spherical nuclei in the granulation section, which have been fed after the particle diameter has been caused to be an average particle diameter of 0.4 to 3.0 mm, to form granules. There is also disclosed an improved granulator.

    摘要: A granule producing apparatus comprises: a container; an exhaust means provided to the top of the container; a space in the upper interior of the container for separating solid material from gases; a space for a fluid bed in the lower interior of the container; a porous floor immediately below the fluid bed space for defining the lower limit of the fluid bed; an air chamber beneath the porous floor for supplying air streams to form the fluid bed; a means for supplying jet stream of air, provided below the fluid bed air stream supply chamber; a plurality of parallelly arranged funnels, said each funnel consisting of an inverse truncated cone and a cylindrical pipe connected to the lower end of the cone, said upwardly enlarged cone opens into the interior of the container with its upper end merging with the porous floor, said each cylindrical pipe having its lower end connected to the jet stream supply means; a means disposed within the upper portion of the cylindrical pipe of each funnel for spraying liquid under pressure into the jet air stream so that the sprayed liquid adheres to the granules and solidifies as it dries; a means fitted to the side wall of the container for supplying granules into the fluid bed space; and a means fitted to the side wall of the container for discharging the granules treated out of the fluid bed space.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method for detecting clogging of air feed pipes, comprising air feed pipes (15), each having an outlet (13) for jetting air into a granulation section (1), and jetting nozzles (13), each situated at the center of the air outlet of a said air feed pipe for jetting a liquid of a molten raw material (e.g. molten urea), wherein, in jetting the liquid of the molten raw material from the jetting nozzles into the granulation section to carry out granulation,(a) an orifice section (14) is provided at a lower part of each of the air feed pipes (15), a section for taking up orifice rear pressure (16) is provided in each air feed pipe and is located downstream of the orifice section, and a section for taking up orifice forward pressure (17) is provided upstream of the orifice section, and(b) the pressure difference between the orifice forward pressure and the orifice rear pressure is measured, to detect clogging of the air feed pipes based on an abnormality in the pressure difference regarding the air feed pipes. There is also disclosed a granulation method, comprising monitoring the pressure difference by the above method, stopping the feed of a liquid of a molten raw material to the air feed pipe whose pressure difference is abnormal, and compensating the amount corresponding to the stoppage with the remaining function. The detection method is a method capable of detecting accurately a malfunction related to jetting of air in the granulation of urea or the like. Further, the granulation method is a granulation method wherein, accurately, in response to the occurrence of a malfunction related to the jetting of air, the feed of a raw material liquid to the malfunctioned section is stopped, and the raw material liquid to be fed to the jet nozzles having other normal air outlets is suitably increased, thereby allowing continuous operation, with the productivity before the occurrence of the malfunction kept.

    摘要: Disclosed is a granulating process which comprises the steps of providing a plurality of spouted bed granulation zones arranged in series and one or more fluidizing zones for cooling and drying purposes each disposed between two adjacent ones of the granulation zones, introducing priming granules of a particulate material into the first-stage granulation zone while spraying thereinto an adherent and solidifiable liquid together with a gas stream to enlarge the priming granules, cooling and drying the enlarged granules in the succeeding fluidizing zone, passing the resulting granules through the other granulation zones and fluidizing zones successively, and withdrawing the granules enlarged to a desired particle size from the last-stage granulation zone. Also disclosed is an apparatus for carrying out this granulating process.

    摘要: There is disclosed a process of granulation comprising dropping as liquid droplets the melt of a substance solidifiable by cooling or drying through a zone having a sufficient vertical distance to allow solidification of the droplets, forming a fluidized bed of the solidified droplets on the bottom of the said zone, spraying the same or a different melt from the above mentioned substance as fine liquid grains along with a gas stream into the fluidized bed thereby forming a spouted bed of the solidified droplets in the fluidized bed, coating and enlarging the solidified droplets with the fine liquid grains inside the spouted bed, and discharging the obtained large sized granules from the fluidized bed. There is also disclosed an apparatus for practicing the process.
