摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for processing hydrocarbon coal slurry feeds. The method and apparatus enhance the conversion of the coal feeds into useful conversion products, such as high melting and high carbon containing pitch products. In particular, the present techniques utilize a specially designed “self-cleaning” and “wall-catalyzed” preheater-reactor systems.

摘要: A process for re-refining used lubricating oil (ULO), much of which is used motor oil (UMO) relies on more rapid heating, turbulent flows, higher peak temperatures, to achieve rapid thermal cracking, even including metal-bearing additives without catalysts, compared to conventional refining of crude oil and conventional recycling processing of UMO. By thermally cracking this way and scrubbing with recycled, processed liquids from the flow stream, a process readily removes metal-bearing hydrocarbons in typical lubricating oil additives. Those bonded metals consigned to heavy fraction “bottoms,” are commonly non-removable by other recycling schemes. Long chain polymers including paraffins are broken into lighter hydrocarbons with properties typical of fuels containing olefins, naphthenes, and the like. Data and analysis reveal low solids, effective metal removal, comparatively low viscosity and boiling points, and greatly reduced sulfur content in fuel and oil products resulting.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a diester-based compound, and, more particularly, to a method of manufacturing a diester-based compound, which is performed using a continuous process including a reaction part in which a total of n reaction units spanning from a first reaction unit to an nth reaction unit are connected in series, wherein each of the reaction units includes a reactor, and the method includes: supplying a feed stream including a dicarboxylic acid and an alcohol into the first reactor; esterifying the feed stream to prepare a reaction product; and supplying a lower discharge stream including the reaction product into the reactor of the rear reaction unit. In this case, a conversion rate of the esterification reaction in the first reactor is controlled in a range of 50 to 80%.

Disclosed is a high pressure polyethylene polymerization system comprising a reactor, a primary compressor, and a secondary compressor, the secondary compressor comprising: a) a first stage, wherein the first stage comprises at least two cylinders, and the discharge pipes of the at least two cylinders are fluidly connected by a first stage discharge cross-connect pipe; b) a second stage; c) an interstage; and d) a first cooler applied to the interstage piping starting at a location within 10 meters downstream of the first stage discharge cross-connect pipe.

摘要: A method of improving the operation of polysilicon fluidized bed reactors is disclosed. The present disclosure is directed to the optimization of axial temperature gradients in gas-solid fluidized bed systems. Varying the width of the particle size distribution in the reactor alters the temperature gradient within the reactor, thereby providing a means of a better control of internal temperature profiles and hence better reactor performance.

摘要: The present invention provides a weir quench, an apparatus utilizing the weir quench and processes incorporating the same. The weir quench incorporates an inlet having an inner diameter (Di) and an upper chamber having an inner diameter (Duc), wherein the inlet inner diameter (Di) is at least 90% of the upper chamber inner diameter (Duc). The apparatus constitutes a reactor having an outlet with an inner diameter fluidly coupled with the weir quench inlet, wherein the ratio of the reactor oulet inner diameter (Dr) to the weir quench inlet diameter (Di) is greater than one. The weir quench, and apparatus are advantageously utilized in processes utilizing a limiting reagent.
